The senior and junior class' have played against each other. I remember playing them my freshman year, it was unbeleivable atmosphere for a freshman game.

Only a couple of players play alot on both sides of the ball. Chase Minnifield, Case Allin and Jermaine Birch have started on both sides of the ball all year long. Chris Hawkins and Rod Johnson have also started playing alot of defense in recent weeks.

Any thoughts?

Jermaine Birch is OK and will be good to go on friday night.

Except in Basketball if you get one player like a Chris Lofton and some average players around him then any school in the state can win the state title. Football you need 6 or 7 really good players (maybe more) and then the rest have to be pretty good.

We played a ton of players on defense the whole night, so who he thought was a starter might habe been misconstrude. Most "starting" defensive players did not play the fourth quarter or only a couple plays like the defensive line. On offense Rod and chase (our runningbacks) didn't play much in the fourth and neither did the receivers.

We will be playing the toughest schedule in the state. St. X Trinity Eastern Ballard PRP Male just to name a few

LCA in 1A. Lets just say that I will be shocked if they can win the state title. I wouldnt consider them a favorite. Are Fort Cambell and Bowling Green even beatable? I Havent seen either one of them.

Trust me, Christian Co is very good. A very fast team with some very outstanding players.

I have only one thing to say. The person who said HC O-line was horrible, I wonder what they are thinking right now.

Henry Clay at the friendly confines of Jake Bell Stadium John Heber Field. The BEST stadium this side of the Mississippi and Im including Commenwealth.

Rod Johnson in my opinion is the best back in the state. This is not a biased opinion as im sure many will accuse me of having, but a mere observation. I have seen some very good backs and Rod really stands out. Anderson and Mattingly stand out because of their great speed and the fact that they are an incredibly dangerous tandom, but i feel that Rod is as good or better than them. I saw Blume on tape(of a scrimmage so it is dificult to say) and he didn't really stick out as being etremely dangerous, i reconized his skill, but not necesarilly that of the top back in the state. With that said Rod ought to be receive alot more college attention whethor it be D1 or D1 AA. He has been receiving some and it is increasing, but I think that if I was a college coach I would want a kid who has tremendous size, vision and most importantly balance. He has a few offers which I will not say unless Rod allows me too, but he is a outstanding back and I will leave it at that.

Chase Minnifield is the premier shutdown corner in the state. He has 5 picks and 1 fumble recovery that have resulted in 2 touchdowns. Last season as a sophmore he also had 2 defensive touchdowns. He also doubles as a tailback on offense.

THANK YOU. When a small school finally gets the right combination to win the state championship, it would mean so much more when they knock off the larger schools to do it, a la Clark County in 1991. Only team to beat Trinity and then St. X in back to back weeks.

This is ridiculous. How many teams will be in the 6A class? It will be like 10 teams. How many will be in the other classes? It will be around 30 teams. Heres a idea, lets just crown whoever wins their region a state champion!!!!

WOW!!! He must be a stud, suprising that I never had heard of him until I got onto this site, but i had heard of Burke, Fidler, Anderson, Morgon, Black, Ard, and obviously Salin Simpson. Im not doubting Olinger's skills, just doupting that much D1 or D1 AA hype.
