I know your not trying ot say Highlands gets ripped by the refs at home? LOL I think every other person who has played basketball in the 9th region will disagree with that. Austin Hill is looking like the player I visioned when I say some talented small kid playing a pick up game at St.Augustine in Covington a few years back. It took Austin a few years to catch back up with them, but I'm starting to sway CSHS and HSSB way as much as I hate it. But I still think its hard to choose between Henderson and Hill. I'm sorry I just don't see how a team can lose in the 9th with a decision on who is better Rice,Hill, Hendeson or Jefferson. An arguement can be made for all and I wish i was the coach with the problem.

Tired isn't really an excuse for about 3 days rest and being a teenager. Holmes over the next 8 days starting tonight play Highlands, Dixie, North College Hill and then NCC. Thats tired.

LOL According where that fight took place, is what odds I would give you

I think this is the real NCC. The played their best ball last week when they had to.

I was told Austin Hill had 30, can that be confirmed. I also was told Arez had a nice two hand slam. Also that Ben G and Rice almost got into it.

Final

They are physical, but there going to need points out of them also.

Have you seen Holmes play?

Nick is the one at HC now. Andrew is the older Steeken.

The only reason he gets frustrated is if the refs don't control Ben G.

There both great players. I'm not taking anyting away from them. Why must people always over react on this site. The fact is no team HHS has faced yet this year has 4 perimeter players to the caliber of Holmes. For that matter 5 or 6 perimeter players to that caliber. The only way the bluebirds win is if the frontcourt scores a good amount. In the 9th region your are no going to out play their backcourt period.

http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/showthread.php?t=88809 Duran Jefferson just got an offer from UK for football. But I'm sure Austin Hill will get more than his fair share. Holmes has alot of talent at skill position in football. To bad some of these guys didn't suit up at a football power.

Yes but I don't think HHS other players have guarded many perimeter players to the caliber and athleticism Holmes will throw at you.

He is the best athlete in NKY since Brandet Englemon. People don't understand how good he is in football, because of the publicity he gets for basketball. The kid is the real deal and can play almost any skill position on the field.

:thumb: I told a couple of people about this in private messaging over a week ago. I was waiting for a media source to confirm Also expect in the next week for UC to do the same.

True. I still think if Ben G isn't controlled by the refs, it could get ugly quick in this game. Rice doesn't have the most self control. I still think Vorihees is going to have to do a whole lot offensively for them to win.

Also I know a year has passed. But remeber basically the same teams played last year, and Holmes won, and didn't just win, blew the Bluebirds out of the gym.

It is hard to keep these guys out of the 60's. Jefferson just gets the ball and goes down the court like a rocket.

They are not down. They are one of the top teams. This is just a very talented class at alot of schools.

Jefferson plays football and is getting DI offers in that sport.

Highlands strength is Voriees. But Jefferson has the upperhand in my mind. Close game, Holmes stretches out at the end, Holmes by 9.

Didn't see a thread. Keeps HC still undefeated in conference play. Looks like HC vs Highlands game decided D.II crown. HOLY CROSS 59, ST. HENRY 51 Junior guard Jimmy Ryan scored 18 points for Holy Cross, ranked No. 6 in the Enquirer Northern Kentucky coaches' poll. CCH got the easiest ride to do so. But they are no shoo in to win. The are no more talented than some of the other top teams. HC is a strong contender with their best freshman never seeing freshman ball this year.

I was at the game. 1. 10th the region officals don't call 3 seconds. Elliot and Howard camped out all game long. 2. McCord for Scott is a player and he need to yell at the quigly kid to give him the rock more. 3. Scott found Pendelton's weakness. They do not have a quality back up for Maines, soon as he hits the bench press Pendeltons brains out. Pendelton turned the ball over like crazy with Maines on the bench. 4. I was very impressed with the Pendeltons Starting 5. The frontcourt, and the shooting ability overall on the team is very good. They look like a state title contender as long as they do not get in foul trouble.

I think Holy Cross fielded a varsity squad in 2 years.
