Okay, you mention the how the runningbacks were not the starters. How about the QB or the Line? I beleive I saw a play very late in the 4th quarter with Beechwood up 55-8, and they actually put the starting line BACK IN for about a 30 yrd sweep against a very undermanned Bellevue JV/Freshmen team. The starters were in the game very, very late. Some may call it payback, I call it CLASSLESS!!!

Bellevue has two sophmore girls on the roster this year. They have seen limited time on the field as they are also playing soccer.

It is common for small schools that have low numbers to use lower skill sophmores. That is been going on for years.

I have to agree with the AD's on this one. Obviously, Bellevue was in a huge hole to dig out of. I beleive they had to choose their fight on Friday, and fighting Mother Nature, Time, Fields, Officiating Crews, and the bottom half of the score board was a lose/lose situation. Don't forget that both teams had to agree to the cancellation. What possibly could Holy Cross gain from playing again, a possible knee injury to one of their star players? They came out healthy. Why chance injury when you are in position to win the district?

It will be a hard fought game in what appears to be some nasty weather. Who gets the advantage for this game? HC has a huge line, and some big backs.

How about some insightful football knowledge instead of kindergarten bickering? If you really want to carry on attacks about each others teams, use private messages. I hear enough fights between my own kids. :thumb:

Kids don't need that. John Randle is a professional and gets paid. The best arguement against it is this: Just like everything else, kids will push to see how far they can go. What's next, full KISS (70's style) face paint. how would you like to see Gene, Paul, Ace, or Peter running around your locker room? Nip it in the bud. It just isn't part of the game.

Somebody help me out on this one. What kind of success did the NKYFL Greendevils have against the Spartans recently? Has there been a trend of close games? I'm sure that the Spartans would have been the usual favorites. Maybe, the talent difference isn't as wide as it once was.

Not true. The defense did give up the last td to Shawnee. A tipped ball in the end zone resulted in a td catch.
