Iam doing just fine. Both schools lose alot of talent that will not be easily replaced. The talent gap between X&T and the rest of the state will not be as wide as it has been the last 5-6 years. With that being said, I think this could be the year that someone other than X or T win the title. Trinity will and should be favored to win it all but will have to be injury free at key positions come playoff time. In order for St.X to win it all they must be able to make opposing teams respect the passing game come playoff time. Legit speed at WR is possible if the coaching staff makes a couple position moves. With the depth at DB and RB they can afford to do it. IMO.

Preferred walk-ons are treated the same has scholarship atheletes. Same food, same facilities, same helmets, same playbooks, same teachers, and even the same coaches. And shoot, if they can make a football play they might even see the field. Of course Iam only basing this on what I have been told from someone I know in this situation. Walking off the street wanting a tryout is one thing, being recruited and knowing the coaching staff is another. And the issue of scholarship opportunities vary from case to case.

100% DEAD WRONG.

A "preferred" walk-on most of the time has a roster spot already waiting for him. These are kids who have been recruited by the school and the coaching staff is aware that the young man has the ability to play at that particular institution. Sometimes "numbers" are the only reason these kids don't get scholarships for the first year. In certain circumstances scholarships are on the way sophomore year. GO BIG BLUE
