Weather permitting, Trinity takes on St. Xavier at Slugger Field at 4PM Sunday. Last coaches poll had St. Xavier ranked #8 and Trinity ranked #12.

It is usually a "Titanic Struggle" when these two get together.

What is the anticipated pitching matchup? Littrell? v. Grayson?

I'd like to see St. X pull it out, expecially after what Trinity did to them in football.:lol::lol:

St X baseball does have 4 football players who haven't forgotten the pain of the last game. But in truth, those kind of emotions don't translate into hitting and thwoing a baseball.

Trinity has one footballer, a projected starting linebacker, on the field. There are only four seniors on the Rocks' roster. Again, hopefully Mother Nature will cooperate.

9-1 Rocks

Corey Littrell pitched very well for Trinity and did not leave much of an opening for X. He has really developed since youth baseball. Trinity took the momentum early and carried it through. St. X started 3 sophomores and warmed up a freshman in the bullpen. The future is bright for X if development occurs.
