Boone never could get in much of a rhythm on the offensive side of the ball. Nice hard fought win against a scrappy Beechwood team.

I've only seen one game this year, but I'm pretty sure Andrew Brown is not starting over him. Brown is a great glue guy. I think it was a really good coaching move.

On your first point, I sat there and watched the first game with a neutral fan and both of us agreed that Boone got better looks at the basket the ENTIRE game. Even the shots Holmes hit, they were contested. I felt like Boone missed more open looks than Holmes. BTW, Boone had it's second lowest scoring output, but dominated the game. They executed their game plan to perfection that night. To the second point, this is a good one. I was expecting Holmes to press and run up and down the whole game, but they didn't. When they did, Boone did crack a little bit. If Holmes starts to press, I expect Boone to also because their press bothered Holmes as much as Holmes' bothered them. I don't think it is smart for Holmes to try and grind out a half court game against Boone. The next point, Boone was just as bad at the free throw line that night. Moot point. The last point, Pittman was not scoring at will until he got hurt. He was having a really good first half, but hardly scoring at will. He didn't sit the majority of the game either. Do I think Boone would have won at Holmes that night? Yea I really do. Good thing for Boone is that they won't have to win at Holmes to win the region.
