  1. It all seems so cyclical- like every team has their run for 5 years and then falls away for a bit and then comes back. I wonder if it has anything to do with certain families that all go to the same school and keep sending good players back.
  2. Eta, It is not a matter of whether or not we want to admit it- it is a matter of whether it is true or not. Things would have been much worse. Even the blowout win over Montgomery at Scott County this year could have been a loss IMO without Luke. I feel that a lot of the players (especially Ives, Isler, and Wellbrock) have improved since the begginning of this year, but I feel that without Maile taking the pressure of them earlier, they never would have. So now that they have come along a bit, since they were not the same players earlier this year, you can't say that this team would have been better off without Luke.
  3. tdyballgame.......at first it all went over my head but talking to a "source" I understand now......very good, very good....
  4. Great game! Elliott is a good team. Personally, I think T. Knipp is the X-factor- when the shots aren't falling, he is the one who takes it to the whole and gets things started. Elliott does rely on the three too much, especially once they get tired, in the second half. They need to find a way to limit fatigue or at least focus on taking the ball to the hoop.
  5. 3's aren't dropping the last few trips down the floor for Elliott!
  6. Does Elliott's coach do anything?
  7. Elliott is a solid team. They pass very well and finish very well. I didn't give them enough credit. Elliott needs to stop pressing. The only way Ballard is getting decent shots is when they outrun Elliott's press. Ballard is dribble-penetrating but not finishing or hitting free throws- if Elliott plays half-court defense and doesn't let them get open looks, this game will be over soon
  8. Interesting free throw form by Faulkner
  9. Elliott needs to STOP pressing.
  10. T. Knipp is a really, really good player.
  11. Wow! Elliott is looking great! They are a lot more athletic than I thought!
  12. wkyt.com has a live feed. Elliott is having a bit of trouble stopping the penetration but Ballard isn't finishing or hitting free throws. Those boys from Sandy Hook hit everything though......
  13. Appreciate it. Anyone know if it is being broadcast in Lexington?
  14. Good policy for BGP. Just means more people will be checking here for updates.
  15. This one is going to last a while.
  16. Holmes hitting their 3's? Uh oh.
  17. Yes it is right. It is Tyler. It is 7, TOG is probably in bed!
  18. :thumb::ylsuper: Don't need too many safeties when you have B. Brown and J. Casanada as your CB's
  19. Looks like the Colonels have turned a bit of a corner (hope I don't speak too soon). Wow. I can't believe I said that without updating the page. Keep us updated.
