Wow bigger margin than i expected. Nice win for the Breds to get back on track.

Very surprising. Newport Central Catholic played great defense.

The Breds are back!:banana:Coach Dawn has always insisted on "in your face defense" and the team did a great job of that last nite. Great win against a great team! Keep up the hard work!

NCC had this one from the tipoff. Congrats to them on a very good game. 9th Region is going to be something to watch at NKU in a few weeks.

Good to see some of the NDA alumnae in attendance. I see some very formidable former Basketball players in that line up.

Sounds like the best athlete on the floor dominated this one. Not often you see a girl with a line of 21 pts 6 assists and 10 STEALS.

I heard something about the NDA bench betting a T but I was told it had something to do with the number of chairs on the bench. Anyone?

My personal opinion is this...one ref dominated the game with a series of calls which were disputed by NDA and often by the other refs. The T was a culmination of events where the ref stopped the game just prior to a free throw by NDA to remove the statistician from the bench area. A chair had to be shifted about 6 feet to appease him and he didn't care for the way the chair was moved. That is why the T was issued.

Game was out of reach and it really appeared to be all about that ref at that point. Game was recorded by channel 22 so see for yourselves.

Any idea why the official removed the statistician?

He T'd a chair move ??

I'm guessing it wasn't simply sliding it over or at least I hope so.

I'm still wondering why this was even requested.

Way to go NCC!!

Go Brit, go Michelle!

Maybe a little frustration on the statistician's part .

You can't just tell a statistician to leave the bench without ejecting them. They're bench personnel like the assistant coaches are.

Our Statistician is great young lady who wouldn't even speak to the refs. She simply records stats in a handheld device which appears to be the basis of the controversy.

Thanks for all the good work O.
