Some major, major D-1 programs have him as the top catcher in his class. A few SEC schools top his list. No one was really happy about that. It certainly hasn't helped the situation.

It is true that he is in Cali for the summer. As for not playing basketball, it comes up every year that he won't, but this is the first year that I believe that he won't. I haven't talked to him in a while though...

Hornsby is the man, I loved him at CovCath.

I'm not gonna say much (hopefully) because I offend too many people. I am a former player (very recent). I received plenty of playing time (I am not jealous) and my parents are big Coach L supporters (I am not the mouthpiece of my parents's complaints). Coach L is a good man, and he tries harder than anyone out there, which makes it difficult to publicly criticize him. But my experiences in his system were not all positive, as a lot of people like to portray. Many former and current players are in agreement with me.

I have heard the same exact things about Notre Dame Academy Volleyball and Basketball........

Basically, to be honest, if Dale doesn't beat teams that are better than him, it has to at least be credited that it is because of the program he has in place that grooms these kids to be great football players (from a very young age) and his system (on O and D), and some credit has to be given there. Ft. Thomas kids aren't just naturally better than everyone else- what Dale has done to that town and team are an amazing thing in themself.

1. I want to see Brossart become a successful program. Everyone that I have encountered from Brossart has been a very nice person to me and I only want to see them succeed.

Beechwood @ Beechwood (Regular Season '04)- Wide Receiver 50+ yard reverse pass in final minutes from Callahan to J. Pauly 3. CovCath v. Bowling Green @ Papa John's Stadium (3A Championship '06)- State Champs, and OL/DL Nate Kater scoring a touchdown 4. CovCath v. Highlands @ CovCath (Playoffs '06)- Domination, and my good friend hitting a Highlands LB hard on a punt return right in front of me (and then that same LB giving me a concussion on the hardwood a few months later :lol:) 5. CovCath v. Elder @ Elder (Regular season '05)- The only L on my list, but a great game against an awesome opponent (lost on a last-second questionable missed FG by our backup kicker) I don't get out much. :lol:

At this point, do you really think the blades of turf-counting thread would be guessing? I'm sure it has been thoroughly discussed by now.
