  1. I have never sat in the old outfield seats, but have never had a bad seat at Wrigley Field. I am sure there are some grandstand seats with a pole in the way of one's view, but they are all good in my mind. Wrigley Field is a magical place and I would be happy sitting anywhere in this park.
  2. I love the pre-game analysis. I love the pre-game chatter. I love the predictions. I love reading the play-by-play updates. I love being able to quickly find the score on the BGP site. I love the post-game analysis, chatter, and discussions. I only hope that BGP can effectively recruit more and more subscribers throughout the state of Kentucky to help contribute to the whole process. That would really make it fun.
  3. When I saw the list, I was dumbfounded that James Bolden was not on it. It now makes sense that, admittedly, an error was made. It would also make sense if James Bolden was now added and the list was eleven players in 2015. The good news is we won't have to wait for months for this case to go to the Supreme Court for a judgment. Guru has the power!
  4. I am a hybrid. Somewhere between sports freak and hard core. A busy life keeps me from being full blown sports freak.
  5. Dakari leaning toward deciding to go into permanent land of oblivion.
  6. Grayson Allen is one of the best I have ever seen at fouling himself.
  7. Congratulations to the Blue Devils! Good ballgame. The Jones kid was tough down the stretch. One irritant.....if you are going to slow a game down and use instant replay, for God sake get the call right. Who knows if it affects the outcome of the game, but what is so hard about using the same shot CBS had. Pitiful.
  8. No doubt about it, La Jolla is one of the prettiest spots in our beautiful country. Clyde, I like you Dana Point/Laguna Beach recommendation except it is about 90 minutes NORTH up I-5. 90 miles south will put them well into Mexico.
  9. I am kind of surprised at your preference, Goldie. Since this is your 50th Sweet Sixteen tournament, I am going to lump you in the old-timer class along with myself. From a spectator standpoint, I loved the Saturday morning/Saturday evening doubleheader. I am sure that coaches and players might have a different viewpoint. I must admit that I have not been to a final under the new Sunday afternoon format. Doesn't seem right to me and I have other things to do on Sundays.
  10. Nice win by Catholic! I thought Bryan Station would win the 11th. Those Lexington Catholic seniors really shined. Fantastic tournament by Michael Talbot.
  11. If I knew, I wouldn't ask, dude. It is an utter joke for ALL Lexington teams to not play in all sports.
  12. Disadvantages? What were they? I am ignorant as to what was in that agreement. Please share. Oh, and the prediction for the game. I like Bryan Station to win.....period.
  13. Randall Cobb is intelligent enough to: 1.) want to play for a winner 2.) want to play with a Hall of Fame quarterback 3.) know that the money will take care of itself and the off the field money associated with playing for a winner might/will offset higher offers from other teams in the long run Randall Cobb made a wise decision, just as I thought he would.
  14. Dakari is or has become as useless as *Word Filter Violation - Edit Your Post**Word Filter Violation - Edit Your Post**Word Filter Violation - Edit Your Post**Word Filter Violation - Edit Your Post* on a boar hog.
  15. No, he is not stupid. That is why he does not go to Oakland. Career suicide.
  16. Billy Hicks and company usually go deep in the tournament. This was not your typical Scott County team. Billy will be back.
  17. Big win for the Blue Devils! This is the first time in how many years that Scott County and Billy Hicks are heading home this early in the season?
  18. I must first say that honesty is always the best policy, but there are several things that I elect to just not give full disclosure in regards to. Not being dishonest, just better off not going there.
  19. I am also disappointed his coach did not tell him to. It was punk move.
  20. nWo….you don't know how much I appreciate your weather posts here on Bluegrasspreps. What you do is accurate, beneficial, and very helpful to me. I remember once upon a time I had a conversation with Lexington meteorologist Cindy Preszler and I told her how difficult her job must be because she was always wrong. Oh…..see didn't like that much! I can't make that statement to you because you have been pretty much dead on these recent forecasts.
