By far may have been a stretch, however I do think he has the highest BB IQ of the players I have seen in the region.

Monroe has much more than just the ability to score. He has the highest basketball IQ by far in the region and makes everyone around him better. He also does it with class. No chest bumping or anything like that. He goes about his business and does not let his emotions get the best of him. Have not seen Prewitt play this year yet but Monroe gets my vote as the best all around player in the region.

Great collective effort by the Mustangs. Never easy to go into Falmouth and pull out a win. Nice to see Fardo get his stroke back, made some big shots, and made some heady plays. I'm not sure what's more impressive in Mason Monroe, his demeanor or his skills, and his skills are off the chart. In my opinion, the best player Brossart's played against all year. You gotta root for a kid like him, well except for tonight. Great, classy kid. Brossart did a good job of taking control of the ball tonight, and Saunders did great, per usual. Just couldn't contain Monroe. Big steal by Ben Uebel at the end of the game. Big win for the Stangs to get their confidence back.

Congrats to Campbell on the win. The Mustangs will get back to work and hopefully Justin Saunders can get his health issues behind him. He is the best player we have and we will be much better when he is healthy.

With today's dribble drive and spread offenses in vogue there are more real charges due to the offensive player being intent on getting to the basket and as a result lowering his head and becoming out of control. An out of control player will not be Rewarded with a foul on the defender.

I'm very interested in seeing the Saunders/McGovney matchup. IMO, Justin doesn't get the credit he deserves, maybe due to the injuries he has sustained thus far this year. I think those two will balance each other out. Joe Jennings will be the key player in this game. I think he'll have a big game, and Brossart will pull it out. I'd be surprised if it was in double digits though.

More often than not, you can use this pre-season ranking to know what the rankings during the season will not be. Just not very accurate ever, IMO...

There were many bad calls both ways. Those 2 calls didn't cost NC the game. They were just late calls. The walk IMO was a correct call. A quality win for the mustangs. Btw, McDonald is the real deal.

The game was reffed incredibly fair. Only because it was the worst officiated game in the world on both sides.
