:ylsuper: The Lady 'Stangs of Bishop Brossart beat Newport Central Catholic 48-45 led by Sophomore Sarah Futscher led the now 17-3 Lady 'Stangs with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Abby Stadtmiller and Maria Greis had 8 each. Brossart outrebounded NCC 43-34 and outshot them 35.3 to 32.7 %

Good job Lady Stangs.

Congrats to the "Stangs not giving up after NewCath took a 9 point lead late in the 3rd. IMO both teams played way out of synch tonight!!!! Would love to know what the FT % was for both???? NewCath missed WAY too many easy shots. NewCath Frosh & JV won so I guess 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Again great job Lady 'Stangs.

Great win for the lady 'stangs. Coach Feldman and his staff are doing a great job. I hope they have an extended stay in Frankfort next week.

Congrats to both teams on a very enjoyable contest. Sarah and Nicole are fun to watch. Good Luck to the Stangs and Breds the remainder of the season.

Congratulations to the Lady Mustangs. I thought NCC lost that game more than Brossart won it. Got to hit those free throws, ladies! Very physical game by both teams. NCC took the freshman game easily and a shot at the end by Loren Zimmerman won it for the JV team. Lady Breds have nothing to worry about.

I think Big "mean" Green Horse was celebrating too much on the "jungle juice" after the victory and added another thread.:idunno:

LOL Just wanted to add the stats and more info and couldn't remove the other is all. But it was a double nice win ya know.

They were the better team on this night and deserve the credit, I will not deny that.
