Yeah I agree with you that it is easier said then done. Just like to see a better game and again I don't think it is called correctly a lot of the time. But those are the rules and it is what it is I guess

Honestly Clyde, I have wanted to do away with the charge/block for years as I believe it is not called correctly/properly because it's too subjective. Just my opinion of course.

I get it that it is instructed to be called, I just don't think it should be part of the game. I also understand why the 3rd ref not being the tiebreaker when it is called.

If Bracken County's coach didn't submit any of his players especially Kalb, the administration should be having a serious conversation with him and there should be ramifications for his lack of action.

I will say Holmes with Cooper and Highlands right there to challenge for the 9th region crown.

The 10th region is very down this year compared to the past 6-10 years.

Well I have officially jinxed SK and Holmes by my statement last week on another thread. With that said, congrats to the Birds on the win.

I played under the old system too, but seeding is so much better because it typically gets the best teams in the district to the regional and not give a free pass to a crappy team and keep home a better one.

I was shocked that Holmes and SK don't play this year. I believe the only way that would happen if I read the Sweet 16 draw correctly is if they both make it to state and the semi-finals.

Even with the loss I don't think you can say SK isn't a top 10 team overall, but they weren't tonight against evidently a pretty damn good Cooper team.

I see your point, but I stand by my predictions and believe CovCath will win the region. If I am proven wrong,I have no problem admitting that I was off or wrong or embarrassing on my prediction as some have said. No worries. And believe me I'm not a CovCath fan and a Big Tim Sullivan fan!!

There was no disrespect on my part. I thought SK would win by 20+ because they were an elite team and that is what an elite team does. Cooper proved me wrong. Congrats to their team on an outstanding win tonight.

I thought they were fairly close and didn't really say who was better, but they have different styles and players. I think Holmes may cause more problems for teams because of their pressure. I do think Holmes is the best team in the 9th region.

Like I said in the updates thread, I was wrong on my prediction. But Cooper has to go to Holmes on February 17th and I think that might be a different outcome for Cooper than tonight was.

Tonight you are right and I am wrong. But let's see on February 17 when they play at Holmes.
