  1. no their ace came in the last inning Arrin Bush. Scheider got the nod because he has been consistent all year and has good off speed pitches. They tried to look back when Smith pitched against them and feed off that 4 hit win
  2. who is Harrison's ace?? When Scott faced them in the middle of the year i think they threw their number 2 against them.. he did a good job but eagles won 7-1. Closer game then it sounds. In that Mcdonalds Classic was the kid that threw against Beechwood their ace?? (Harrison vs Scott) Best game in the first round
  3. From what i here Dixie has some great players coming up......Kendall is great and Tyler.....Richardson is a great compliment to those two....Mace will be a force inside... They have a nice sophmore big man in Bozey excellent shooter in Mosier and they have very good Freshman class coming in and the eighth grade behind was told to me will be the best class they have had since Bramlage and O'Toole ' Jones class.
  4. Dixie will have a nice team they are still going to be a year away before they return to the Colonels of old... Junior Kyle Kendall will shine next year.. Dixie has guys that can shoot the three i believe Cole is going to be back correct me if im wrong. Mace may be better this year. I think if Chevy wants this team to be successful then they need to adjust to thier position players..Dixie will have a very good Freshman Class next year.
  5. That is Bush's 2nd straight shutout against there district opponents. Im not sure if he threw a complete game against Brossart but he did just as good. Scott gets in the drivers seat going 2-0 with Calvery and SG up next week
  6. Smith got the win for the ealges.. Scott didnt hit solid all game until the last inning to get some insurance runs for their closer. The game ended up being 7-1. I dont know if Harrison didnt come to play or Scott just played good ball but, solid win for the eagles.
  7. Anyone know any details?? Pool A @ Scott: St. Henry vs Beechwood highlands vs Scott Pool B: Where is it played at and who is in it as well. I know is Dixie and probably SK
  8. it wasnt 5 innings, i think the went with the whole 7. But i dont know why they took Nicholas out. sorry if i spelt that wrong. But Dixie had a 4-2 lead and then Scott just started killing the ball. It was 6-4 or 5-3 when he game out. Bush didnt do good early on but came through and started putting it on after the 2nd. Strong just didnt have his stuff or something. He got hit hard. When Scott scored two runs off of an infeild chopper the game started getting out of hand.
  9. Who would you take in the Scott and Campbell game?? Sounds to me Campbell can hit but did they throw there ace. Scott just scored 14 runs off of Dixies 1 and 2 Wednesday. (Strong and Nicholas) if taht is there 1 and 2. What do you think the turn out of the game will be out at Scott??
  10. Yes Arrin Bush is a jr and that is his second shut out in a row (first coming against Pendleton Co.) He had good desfense behind him which any pitcher would love. they still have a long season ahead as well as Brossart. Maybe we will see these teams play in the District Tourney!!
  11. A pitching duel.... game lasted for about an hour. Both teams saw there #1 for the first district game in the 10th
  12. it was the first night game for Scott High School at home and it went well. The seniors all got the start and put it on since the beginning.
  13. everything is correct but you forgot Conner behind Scott. I believe that it looks good and i dont think there will be much of a change besides Cov Cath not finishing in front of Ryle
  14. actually I thought the pitching for walton didnt do too bad. I mean it was cold and no games have been played yet so the pitching wont be astonishing, especially in the snow:scared: But yeah of course Scott did alot better than Walton from the beginning, there on two different levels right now but Walton is young and it was good for them to play a team like Scott before there first game
  15. OMG!! why dont you look at the thread they have been talking about!! Diamond talks about the kid non stop. He must know the kid really well. I think Harkins from Conner, Kyle York from Ludlow, and Jimmy Ryan from Holy Cross will be the top Jrs in the 9th. Arrin Bush would be in there too but Scott went to the 10th this year
  16. any info on Jarred Yates C and Nathan Adcock RHP from North Hardin who i see is 13th in the state. They are on our schedule this year
  17. I know that the coaches poll came out weeks ago and heard about it but anyone know what it is. I know Beechwood, Cov Cath, Ryle, Scott is on top 1 through 4 but i don't know what it goes after that. Any help coaches?? What are they and what do you think about it??
  18. Shane Taylor from Conner, good glove at third and hits consistently with the bat. Good Power too
  19. I heard the coaches poll came out a couple days ago and i wanted to know if anyone knew where anyone was ranked?? I dont want to hear your thoughts i want to know the actual rankings. BEGIN....
  20. for Cov Cath i think Larkin will play 2nd with Farrel behind the plate and when Farrel pitches Spradlin or Sutton can catch. They are lucky to have depth in catching to keep them at rest. How does there pitching look?? Will they have anyone besides Blesser and Farrel. i dont think they will be that strong on the mound
  21. i was at the game and i would like to add, even though Knowles did not score alot, they did a good job of getting the ball inside to there big man. Great season for the Eagles. Great 1st year in the 10th. We went in with not much respect. We played until the last second so hold your head up high!! Great Season for the seasons Howard McCord and WHitehead. SR's 06. Good luck to the Cards. Pound the ball inside and move the ball around like you all were doing. Good Job Coach Carr
  22. Boone might not have the players but they have good coaching. Farris and Dietz will have to carry the team and they only lost addison and there short was the only players they really lost last season. I thought they did good last year with contributing as a team. St. Henry and HC is no better than Boone, they have Greime and there pitcher and good hitter Shank. Holy Cross got Busse but have no one else and i believe Busse wont contribute that much because he wont get much run support and you had them in front of Scott too along with Sk which is a big no no. Travis Smith carried that team and they lost Brandon Bickers who came to Scott which is a lose of an arm.
  23. I believe that 1 through 3 is correct but i dont know how HC is in the top 5!! and Boone is not in the top 10. And i dont see Sk and St Henry over Scott. Beechwood Cov Cath Ryle Scott Conner Simon Kenton Boone New Cath St Henry Holy Cross
  24. Goetz had a good group that was coming back this year......Lantry, Steenken, Busse and Ryan all had varsity experiance.......next year i think we will see how good of a coach he really is......I think it has to Go to Schlarman 20 wins from 9 last year that is a tremendous turn around.........my vote goes to Willy
