The Camels win a big district seeding game, defeating Brossart at Brossart, 13-10. Camels jump out early to a 7-0 lead, Brossart battled back to make it 7-5 before the Camels add six more over the last two inning to make it 13-5 going into the bottom of the seventh when Brossart added another five runs. The Camels pound out 17 hits with catcher Nate Allen going three for five with a homer and six RBI. Braden McCain gets four hits with a pair of doubles and Daniel Stein added three hits and Brett White two. Luke Bray gets the win and Charlie Loudermilk gets the seventh inning save. Camels now 6-3 with wins over Dixie and Brossart this week. The Camels have St. Henry Friday then head to Mason Co. this weekend for the Spectrum Graphic Classic.:dancingpa

I'll say one thing for the Mustangs there was no quit in them tonight even when they were down 13-5. The Camels are finally getting some games in and are hitting the ball.

Brossart has lost to Scott (1-0) and Campbell County (13-10) and beaten Silver Grove (10-0) (the "A" Finals counted as the district game also).

 

Assuming that we beat Calvary Christian we would be the 3 seed with the winner of Campbell-Scott playing for the one seed (game not on the Riherds schedule), assuming that Campbell and Scott beat SG and Calvary.

 

The winner of CC-Scott would play the winner of Silver Grove/Calvary, while the loser would play Brossart.

Who would you take in the Scott and Campbell game?? Sounds to me Campbell can hit but did they throw there ace. Scott just scored 14 runs off of Dixies 1 and 2 Wednesday. (Strong and Nicholas) if taht is there 1 and 2. What do you think the turn out of the game will be out at Scott??

Scott is tough...up and down through the lineup they're solid and both swanson and bush have the potential to beat the best in nky when they're on

Regarding CC vs Scott, it should be a very good game. Both are experienced and good hitting clubs. It will come down to who can slow down the other club's offense.
