JBS is a contender for sure. but I believe the player on that team to beware of is Tate Cox. It was Cox who hit a three at the end of regulation and at the end of the 1st ot against Hazard in the regional tournament. Had Stepp not turn over the ball at the end of the second ot, Cox would have done it again. Cox is a PTP er.

JBS in a easy one. Have no fear stats will be blown up tonite.

I saw Powell against Morgan Co. and I do not believe missing Romans is thier only problem. They could not handle the ball at all and Morgan was not pressing, way to many turnovers and soft passes. Montgomery will blow this game open if the turnovers are not kept in check. If they can stop the turnover bug Powell may keep it within 10 or 12 points.

I am not sure why Lee is searching for the right recipe. 4 returning starters under the same coach and system, district champs last year, all A regional champs from last year. I think the recipe is going to be the same. This team in practice looks better than last years team. I do believe the other district teams may also be improved thus making it a fun season to watch.:jump:

I do not see a clear favorite but I will say JBS is the frontrunner. I watched them at Georgetown play most of thier games and I feel they are slightly the favorite. The other contenders are Powell Co. (everybody back and a exciting new coach) Lee Co ( 7 seniors with a ton of experience) Hazard (if everybody stays at home) PCC ( as usual TOUGH)
