I would take that action anytime. If anyone watches 14th region basketball it is well known that the officails tend to protect the stars and Clark Stepp tends to get the benefit of the doubt most of the time. On a nuetral court Mason wins in a blowout. But give JBS credit they did what they had to do to put thier team in position for a big upset. JBS is a top three team in the region for sure. I am not ready to crown them yet. This is JBS's time to shine and when the Steppp boys graduate they will return to a bottom third team. It is a simple enrollment issue with less than a 100 students it is tough to field a competitve team year in and year out. Just MHO.

Romans will be ready don't believe anything else except he will play. This game will depend on defense and rebounding. I saw Powell early in the year and they couldn't get the ball up the floor that could cause a problem if that hasn't changed. Lee is still limping a little with the injury bug and has not been rebounding well. So this game will be close, and since it is at Powell it makes it more interesting for the Bobcats to overcome. I went to this game, Owsley was there till 3rd quarter started and Breathitt took it up a notch. Owsley never recovered and Breathitt coasted. Travis Smith is a stud in the lane and Hollon can shoot from downtown. Breathitt is a contender or sure.

We scrimmaged them at Wolfe as our last scrimmage. They caught us on a hot shotting night and we won by around thirty. They are better than that and we may not be as good as we were on that nite. Sometimes all your shots fall

JBS wins this one by ten I believe Clark Stepp had a ton of points not sure heard around 40 but not confirmed.:lol:

Hazard is still finding its way into basketball shape, PCC seems to be to much one on one play. But it is at PCC and Holland protects his house as much as anyone in thew region. The King says Hazard 73 PCC 69

Lincoln beat Perry County Central earlier without two starters and lost to Mason Co by 31. This don't bode well for JBS. the King says Mason by 17. Subs will play alot.(of course not for JBS)

Good effort Breathitt, had a big lead midway thru the 3rd and just couldn't hold on. Take nothing from Hazard they just expect to win. Good game for both teams

Could Lees defense have anything to do with the last shot being a perimeter shot. No harm meant Flash , I always have respected your thoughts on this forum. We just believe Lee earned the victory and fortune had very little to do with it. Still I love the way Jackson City played Kilburn is my cousin and Drew is one my favorites in the region he never lets up like an energizer battery. I really like Coach Hall I think JC got the best end of the coaching changes. Best wishes the rest of the year

Good win for Bell Co.

great game tonite in Jackson City, both teams played with heart, hitting big shots to take lead. Lead changed around 10 times in the fourth quarter. Davidson was unconscious for JC and Brandenburg refused to lose for Lee. Landon Johnson hot some big shots late for Lee Co. Aaron Charles played with strep throat but played very hard. Coach Wright has Lee at 4 - 1 early on and now he will prepare them for 2 district games next week. Lotsa love out to Coach Wright I assure everyone he will not get out worked. Respect to Coach Hall and the Tigers from Bobcat land.

This is an interesting matchup, two pressing teams. I do not believe it will be a wide margin of victory either way. Davidson must stay out of foul trouble for Jackson City to win. After careful consideration, The King says Lee by 9
