If it is then that's unbelievable.

It just goes to show how weak mountain basketball is compared to the rest of the state. I hate to say that, but it's the truth.

Checked this on the scoreboard...and it is a final.

I wouldnt compare all mountain basketball to this one game but I was surprised by the score. I saw Dunbar play in the Hazard panarama and was not that impressed with them...

I saw Dunbar play also and they looked pretty good. The Lexington region is loaded this year

Your right that 11th region is very good...

uk 96 you can't judge an 11th region team to a scrimmage at hazard. If memory serves me correctly Dunbar beat both teams down there. They had hazard down 20 to 9 at one point and then they started counting fouls in a scrimmage so the coach had to take out some of his starters or it would have been the same results down there. I think Dunbar deserves some credit for how hard they play. Also last year in the STATE TOURNAMENT, Madison Central Mashed Hazard. The 14th region is no match for the 11th with the exception of a win against Lafayette.

I agree that you cannot completely judge a team from a scrimmage and you also can't bring up state tourney games from last year. I was not talking about Dunbar just couldnt understand the difference in the score. I agree that the 11th is loaded and to be honest with you Dunbar has 0% chance of winning the 11th in MO. Scott Co,Lex Cath,MC,or Tates Creek are too much for them....

Dunbar plays up and down the floor. Very entertaining and they play all out for 32 minutes. Just a little bit undersized.

I think the score says more for the strength of Lexington basketball this year than the weakness of eastern Kentucky basketball.
