I don't know what Fort Knox did to North Hardin before the game but I hope they never do it to them again....

They must have stomped on the bird.

And we all know what happens when you stomp on the bird! Great one Digger...:D

no reason for this to happen if the coach can't pull it back then he should not be the coach. when you can score at will then you call also stop scoring if you want to stop. it looks like this year in high school basketball the scores a little worse than usual. in other words be a real coach TEACH don't destroy them

This is as lopsided of a score than I could ever remeber, North Hardin have any jv players or 8th graders they could've put in are they that good or is Fort Knox that bad?

From the E-town News-Enterprise...

Fort Knox, which only dressed seven players, had four players foul out.

The second quarter didn’t get much better for Fort Knox. The Lady Trojans scored 43 points to take a 76-13 lead at halftime. The 76 first-half points ranked second in the state for most points scored in a half.

In the third quarter, North Hardin coach Tony Perkins called off the full-court pressure defense the Lady Trojans run, but the Lady Eagles still had trouble scoring. North Hardin utilized a 32-0 run to widen its already huge lead.

The Lady Trojans had a two-player advantage for most of the fourth quarter and played stall ball for the final two minutes.

This is completely classless, a 32-0 run after pressing the entire first half even when the lead was 50 or over. Mr. Perkins please take a look at things in a better light. NO EXCUSE

I agree, I don't know the story on either team or this game but just reading this score there must have been something he (coach) could have done to hold the score down somewhat. I mean ...it was going to obviously be bad and that could not be helped, but to keep pressing with a 50pt. lead!: I hope that he feels good about himself. Nice coach......real nice.:irked: This reminds me of some years back when a coach at a school in my are left a kid in a game to set a 3 pt./ single game scoring record for the school when they were beating the opponet into the floor and the game had no doubt been decided long before. Coaches like this are classless. JMO

He could have played 3 on 3. Or even offered to call the game at half. I have a feeling this will come back to bight him on the but.

This could be one of the most classless acts in sports ever. Their is no reason to beat a team by 104 points . This coach should feel real good about their ability. Pressing a team until the 3rd with over a 50 point lead. People often think about what is wrong with the youth of today and their attitudes and lack of respect towards others. With leaders like this, it doesnt suprise me.
