55th District predictions

Featured Replies

Who will be the best teams, players, defense lets break down the 55th district........ Whats ur opinons?

Well Breathitt will have a lock on that district. 4 returning starters and wolfe lost everyone. Jackson city will still put up a fight, but I think they will be a few players short! Coach Hall will have them playing hard though!

This district is weaker than what it would have been in the past. However, I think Breathitt will have a good season this year. They return a lot of talent.

Wolfe County has a young and inexperianced team but they are very aggressive and wont be a push over

My rankings of the top five players would be:

1.)Hollan-Breathitt

2.)Davidson-Jackson City

3.)Smith-Breathitt

4.)Kilburn-Jackson City

5.)Evans-Wolfe

Look for Jackson City to make it two in row.

Jackson City should take this district. Breathitt will finish second

Breathitt and Jackson City will play close. Breathitt should win due to better depth and a stronger inside game (Smith and Combs). This is still a fairly young team.

Jackson can win if they play a strong team defense and if Davidson doesn't get into foul trouble. Jackson also may need to stroke a few threes to keep other teams honest and I'm not sure they can do it. A team that plays a decent zone and that transitions back quickly on defense could really pose problems for them.
