Well, they didn't shoot the lights out the first game. This game is a tossup because with these two teams you don't know who will show up and which will shoot good. I have to go with my Rebels.

Heard that DCA had another kid come in that had been Home schooled and can shoot the ball?

My nephew is an 8th grader at Oldham and is a really good player. Look forward to seeing how well he does at Oldham.

Was hearing that is Mother was the library teacher at Boyle's Woodlawn Elem. school. Not sure about that but I did hear that from more than a couple of people.

I read that they have Highlands, Bullitt East, St. X, Fredrick Douglas and Lexington Catholic. Wayne, Lincoln and Russell are their District game with Taylor moving to a different district (that was I was told). Now this is just what I seen from a post. Just noticed that it is at the top of this page.

Bixler was pretty much released from team McPherson, Richards and Hager quit to concentrate on football. The last 3 said that was the reason for them leaving the team.

I'm still trying to think of the 6 that quit basketball last year but and it could be 6 but I can't think of them.

Not sure on why Goodin transfered but the other 2 had more to do with parents that the kids. Now that is just my opinion and for what I have seen and been told.

I would agree with you some on the Rebels but what hurt them was not have all of their players against Dixie Heights. Plus, when you turn it over 22 times, and they score 32 points off of them that hurts, and they got beat by 30. I think if they can start to play together and not having player miss game, they will be a hard team to play. This Rebel team is young but has some good athletes.

From what I have heard today is, Driver, Brown, Akers and Goodin will have to sit out 2 games. Richards was in the lineup at the time and will not have to sit out.

All mention has had great careers at Boyle but, I had a coach in little league basketball that was one of the best RB at Boyle. Ed Sleet was a great RB and was probably one of the quickest backs to go along with Mike Harmon to ever suit up for the Rebels.

From my understanding I think they will. I know that Drivers will but thinking that both will. Driver needs to get his head in the game and learn to control his temper. Boyle needs him to be in the game and not on the bench.

Boyle’s really played some good defense and it seemed to have Southwestern stump. But like 12th Regions Sports said, Drivers 5th foul changed the game.

Heard that Turner was leaving and that he sister is a really good volleyball player and has enrolled in school in Louisville. Haven't heard anything about Hager but most people now the reasoning on why they are leaving, and I'll leave it at that.

I heard that is was plus heard that Hager was but then heard that Brock wasn't. We'll just have to wait and see but will be a shame if they don't play. Take it from me, if you don't play now, you will regret it later on.
