Yes, we were the Bulldog's alright! I guess the name has changed to "Dawg's"! I'm still am an alumni and proud of it.

The gym at Holmes is huge, and it's also very hot when it's packed. Back in the day "75-78" we had very good year's. "We have a date - down state". "Good luck Dawgs"

Valdosta is the city school and Lowndes is the county school. Lowndes is the big football stadium off of I-75. The state has changed the exit number's since we lived there. Both football teams are very good.

Summit View Middle School has had a great football team the past two years. A parent told us in the 90's that his son who played for Scott was injured on the field because the coaches at the time would start player's before they were ready to play varsity. Also at that time the weight program was alot to be desired. Don't blame open enrollment. Summit View split's into 3 high school's.

I feel bad for all senior's. Underclassmen have the next year to look forward to.

For whatever reason some of the faithfull Bluebird fan's were not sure who to go for in the CCH/Dixie game. They wanted a CCH win.

In honor of all parent's who are disabled. Same thing happened when Dixie played Campbell Co. in fall of 2004. It was senior night for the Camel's. It was touching to see the Campbell County parent's greet their son's on senior night. (and there was a delayed game call for the Camel's).
