Great game Colonels! Keep pluggin' away as this is no time to get complacent. The defensive secondary and the OLB's need to work on their coverages for sure. I loved the pressure on the QB tonight. CC had to roll out the QB if they wanted to keep him from being flat on his back. Their QB threw a nice ball and made good decisions but when you keep 8 in to block and still can't hold of the rush its hard to complete a pass. When Marty got bent up and knocked out of the game my heart stopped for a minute, but in true Colonel fashion he got back up and a few minutes later came back in the game. Why they kept him in so long when the game was out of reach I will never understand. He's far to important to this team to take another chance with. The O still doesn't work the middle of the field with anything other than a slant or a post and those throws were late IMO. Dixie needs to put in a dig route in the worst way. Conner Brock stepped up big time and CC had no answer for him.

I like our chances next week but it's going to be a war! So strap it on and punch the clock boys, the CCH team your facing is as good as any team you've faced all year.

BTW - on behalf of all the colonel fans thanks for a very enjoyable evening. The score got lopsided but all in all it was a very entertaining game. Hard hitting, 100 percent effort on both sides. CC has a lot to be proud of. They had a nice game plan for the most part and were in it most of the way.

I thought the final score was 45-13? Did they have a penalty on Brock's TD? I walked out when he scored it.

Congrats to Dixie and it will be a good one next week at Dixie. Both teams are playing well. TD was called back by a hold. Very glad that Molony is OK. Didn't look good at first. Best wishes to Dixie and Campbell (at least for one round) in the playoffs.

Another solid game for the Colonels! All aspects played great. EJ Detmer had 4 TD receptions, a pick, and a nice punt return down to the 10. Brock had two rushing touchdowns. Molony ran well as usual. He gave everyone a scare when he had to be helped off the field halfway through the 2nd, but he came back in. Bricking had a solid game. The o-line did another outstanding job. Defensively, they made plays and tackled fairly well. The line was getting pressure. The DBs made some nice plays. Special teams was solid with a couple field goals, 2 blocked punts by Koski, and an onside kick recovery.

For CC, Studer had a solid game. You just have to throw the ball up, and the kid goes and gets it. Rose went out on CC's 1st or 2nd drive and never returned. He stood on the sidelines for the remainder of the game without a helmet, so hopefully it was just precautionary. #33 came in and ran nicely. Very, very fast and quick. He had a nice TD catch and run on the screen. Saurbeck had a solid game, and had some shoestring tackles on Molony that probably prevented him from reaching the endzone.

I know many in the past have complained about CC's announcer. I, personally, think he's a pleasure to listen to. He gets the home crowd pumped up. He provides entertainment (red rubber band). And he compliments the visiting team on numerous occassions. Not once did I think he overstepped his boundaries as an announcer.

Thanks, I got home and saw the score and thought it was a mistake but didn't know. I didn't see a flag so I was wondering if I missed something. Aparantly I did.

As ltm stated, it was a hold on 65. They ran again and then settled for a FG.

I agree about the announcer and owe the camel fans and Mr. Rose an apology. He is not the announcer that I thought he was when I posted a negative response a few years ago. He was a complete joy IMO.

If you saw and heard the hit on #34 it was massive. Both players were shook up on the play but he got the worst of it. He kept trying to get up but his legs and arms didn't seem to work. Speaking from experience I am sure he had a concussion and wouldn't be surprised if he thought he was bat man most of the first half. It was a good decision not to let him back in IMO, even if it was senior night.

#33 was the best least used weapon on the CC offense IMO.

I believe it was Dettmer on the hit. Someone must have gotten on him after the Highlands' game, because he has become much more physical.

Yes he was. I heard that he's a track star too. IMO, they abandoned the run way too early.

Dixie is on fire :flame: heading into the playoffs. Detmer made some big plays on offense and special teams. You can't forget to mention Koski who was an animal out there tonight. For CC Studer continues putting up big numbers every week. He took an interception away from a Dixie defender early in the first half and made many nice plays throughout the game.

Wow--Dixie on a serious roll and the Camels going in the opposite direction?? Thought that Campbell had found their offense, but it appears not and that will apparently send them back to Boone, where they've already been handed a 28-0 loss. Good time to get hot for the Colonels and the opposite for the Camels--Dixie/CovCath should be a battle next week, as I think that's how it plays out in 5-A??

Surprizingly no comments from the Camels faithful again?? You guys need to rally around your team--NCC and Dixie are no slouches and its no time to give up on this team!!
