Yeah, I was going to recommend Mayfield, plenty of tradition, and the DC position is almost a head coaching position in itself. The coach that left that job I am told turned down a couple of head coaching jobs cause of family situations, but getting into the Mayfield system has usually led coaches to bigger and better opportunities. I think that Tilghman is going to be greatly improved this year myself. They came so close last season to the championship and I don't believe they graduated much this season so I expect a title this season.

I am with ya, I just hope the powers that be take it as seriously as we do!

I agree, Tilghman is in a very good position to win some games this coming year, you should see a great improvement in their defense this coming season. I wish coach Lawson the best in the upcoming season, minus the one game of course, . I really hate to see him go, these shoes will be really hard to fill, wonder what coaches out there are looking for a job??

Good research, but it was a very informal thing he did last night right at the end, he jokingly said that Corey called him and he had a cell phone in his hand like he had him on the phone, but I think it hasn't been made official yet. I was watching the 10 o' clock news last night on WPSD channel 6 out of Paducah and the announcer said that Corey Robinson has been named BGP Player of the Year, congratulations to Corey on an outstanding season!!

I heard on WPSD in Paducah that they have named Corey Robinson Mr. Football.

I would be most happy if this happened, the rest will fall into place if we can fix this issue.

Yeah, I have checked the map and Louisville works the best all around, WKU is too for the eastern KY folks and commonwealth stadium is too far for the western KY folks. I don't see it moving out of louisville, but I could be wrong.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Jack back at Tilghman with the way 3A lines up for the next couple of years, Tilghman came up really short of a state title this year, only lost by 3 to the state champions, should be interesting!!

I wouldn't have been disappointed in them this year, they really turned it all around by the end of the season and played Mayfield one of the best games I have ever seen between Mayfield and Crittenden.

Wow, this is a very interesting turn of events, I think that Tilghman is losing a great coach and this poses a great opportunity for someone out there. I too doubt that Rogers or Shelton would want the job with what they have going at Graves and Marshall. I kinda wonder if Haskins would either with the success he has had at Lone Oak and with some of the talent that I heard he has coming up there. Should be interesting in the coming months to see who fills this position.

I just say this cause the argument that the KHSAA is lining this game up for money is kinda invalid if the fans don't traditionally turn out in droves for this game. 15,000 is prob just the die hard fans, its barely 1% of the population of Louisville.

Isn't this attendance a little disappointing for this game? Where is the 30,000+ fan base that usually attends the regular season game earlier in the year?

I say show more plays and less commercials.
