Isn't this attendance a little disappointing for this game? Where is the 30,000+ fan base that usually attends the regular season game earlier in the year?

The second version is always less than the first....there isn't enough time for our nation wide alums to get back in town..The weather is generally better in Sept...etc..

X/T (regular season) is same time EVERY year has been that way for MANY years. State game you know about the week before.

I just say this cause the argument that the KHSAA is lining this game up for money is kinda invalid if the fans don't traditionally turn out in droves for this game. 15,000 is prob just the die hard fans, its barely 1% of the population of Louisville.

In 2005 state game over 21,000 in 2003 over 26,000. Weather makes all the difference.

It was more than double. Don't remember which game it was but someone had close to 7000.

Don't know about 1st games each day (which I know where less) but 2nd games each had 7000/8000 plus at them.

Blame it on me I did not get to go due to 2 company x-mas parties and a birthday party.

Only 15,000. Must have been only the T and X players parents came.
