  1. Bricking has been working hard during the off season and has made definite strides to be one of the top QB's this year. His strength and overall size has improved and as for his speed, he can run if given the opportunity... I agree, he likes the "air" but this year you will see more ground coverage. This past year was only his second year at the QB position and before that he was an outstanding WR. It should be a great year for 4AAAA!
  2. REally? Jefferson among the elite QB's? Don't stats count? I know he is very athletic but I don't know if I would put him in that category....
  3. I heard that Dixie's field hit another snag.... something about a water line? Has anyone else heard anything?
  4. Did I misunderstand that....is CCH already practicing?
  5. Dixie's record last year should prove to everyone that they are a team to be dealt with every year. So much of the talk last year was centered around the inexperience of the team and yet they were on the win side of their games. They will come out, again, with little respect and prove themselves AGAIN. Look at the stats of the team players and compare them wiith the area players, Bricking, Molony, Gibson, etc and look at the defense that Dixie has to offer.....I think this year will prove to be very interesting and wish all the teams go luck.....I guess we will have to wait and see........
  6. I can't wait for the start of the season! It will be a barn burner at alot of games this fall! So much talent is in the No. Ky. area but I have to stay true to Dixie and say that the boys are just getting started for a long run at great things to come! Go Dixie!
  7. Hey Sandman, I have been away for a while but I am pleased to see the way you are addressing the issue of getting ready for the season by using the off season. I do know for a fact that quite a few of the players are working hard since the season ended. Although I do know that there is a lack of structure. It seems that there is more being done by groups of players working out together off school grounds than by the staff encouragment. I think this years team will be strong and I can't wait for the start of the season! How much longer?!?
  8. Sportsforlife..... where on the KHSAA website did you find the stats for the regular season showing rankings?
  9. I have to go with Bricking. In his first year at varsity QB he posted 1635 passing yards for the season and this kid is only a sophmore! If he works hard in the off season, he should do well. He also has the majority of the team returning and we all know that it takes the whole team, not just the QB!
  10. Awesome season! Who would have guessed that the team would have taken the fans down some untraveled roads! Like the District win! It was great watching the Seniors lead the underclassman with such class. Never to much advice and just enough to let the underclassman grow! Our Seniors lead in a way that I hope will inspire the underclassman to lead next year! Again, thanks for a great ride this year guys, I wish for you the best that life has to offer you! Good luck and remember, once a Colonel always a Colonel with Pride!
  11. WOW! Remember the Round Up? Cool dance/bar on Dixie Highway? You could hear the bands for miles! Of course, I was much, much to young to get in at the time!
  12. who was the player of the week last week?
  13. Nicely said SM32....GO DIXIE! Personnally, I'm not ready for football to be over just yet boys, so follow the good advice above and let's keep rollin'!
  14. I don't know who predicted that score but I say, let's hang those signs again and see if the magic is really working! Go Dixie!
