  1. He will be back in around 3 weeks I hear.
  2. Yes true and titles are great but I wouldnt trade the last 6 years the tigers have had. The program is in good shape, on solid ground and is producing some great football from great young men. :thumb::thumb::thumb:
  3. I think it was their B team form what I gather.
  4. UK/BAMA will be at 12:30 now so a double header will be in store.
  5. and I will quote someone who used to know something. "well your crazy", "get out"
  6. Sure post as if you do. Trimble better have speed to run that offense. Atherton is thin in numbers but being a public 4a school is Jefferson County they will have some speed.
  7. Dang your bitter, must know the Trimble Coaches. I base this in my head as I have coached against both head coaches and some of the assistants. I just feel Walker is a good coach.
  8. Trimble has more talent but Atherton has more coaching talent. Coaching helps the Rebels.
  9. I would coach with him or hire him any day of the week.
  10. Lonnie Oldham did fine. The coach at Easten now was at Trinity. You also have to compare how the programs were before and after they were there. Many had inherited some terrible programs that were so low odwn that improvement cannot be measured by wins and loses.
  11. No, but to lump all the ones that haven't succeded b/c they coached at a powerhouse is saying that any of them wont make a good coach is just as wrong. I am just saying it couldn't hurt. It dosen't guarentee but could only help them succeed.
  12. Most of the ones that have set that precedent at a certain Louisville power were truely not from the school but used it as a pitstop to get a head job.
  13. Especially out in the state where you have stat keepers trying to dictate and run certain programs. Some places people may be tooooo involved.
  14. Especially since X and T are so undisciplined on and off the field and do nothing in the offseason. The person from one of those would have no idea how to manage a program and parents.
  15. Congrats Coach Collins, whoever you are. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!
  16. No he is fine. X will be better this year in attitude and working. Their d-line and LBer's will be some of the best they have had and that is saying alot. The dline will be one of the strongest. Maybe even close to the Tronzo group.
  17. I know being involved is not the reason for said program to win but being around winning is definitely beneficial. Good Luck to Trimble to stay heading the right direction.
  18. how could experienced and winning not fit any system? Not to mention fits the needs of a teaching opening. Also if you think you can know someone and what they offer from an application, the committee or whoever reviewed them much be a genious or have a crystal ball. So I guess the committee really did a great job finding a best candidate. You say that just being in 6A means nothing then you quote what Trinity does. I would say the applicant is prolly better off not interviewing for he could have been stuck there dealing with such incompetence. Oh Well.:clap::clap:
  19. I think Trimble and its school system seem very unorganized and unprofessional. They will get what they put into it. Good luck with the rise!!!!!!!!!! PS I dont think anyone who is a teacher and a coach has so much extra time on their hands to apply for a job just to get an interview, that may be the dumbest thing I have read on here.
  20. He was at X and teaches special education which happens to have openings at Trimble County High School sccording to KDE sit.
  21. Position coach that wants to get a head job and try something outside of Jefferson County.
  22. You would think that a coach with Special ed cert. and 6 years experience at 2 of the best 6A schools in Jefferson County could get an interview. Heaven forbid a program go outside the box a little.
