Trimble County/Atherton Predictions

This game is part of the Henry Co Dairy Queen Bowl on Saturday. Both teams were below .500 last year and have a common link. Trimble Co's new coach, Chris Collins, was the head coach at Atherton last year.

 

Trimble's numbers have increased since last season (37 players, currently), but suffered a loss in that senior Joe West will likely not be able to play the remainder of the season, due to a head injury suffered two weeks ago. Can the 1A Raiders beat the 4A Rebels?

I'll take Trimble County on this one... After seeing them scrimmage Knott County Central at Paris even tho they made a few mistakes. Trimble looks alot better then last year's team and im glad to see those number increase also this year Go Raiders!!!!!!!!

Im rolling with the Running Rebels as well....They did not have a good showing in their scrimmage....Bubba will have them ready....Chef Poochy and I will be taligating for this one....

What did the scrimmage vs Knott County look like? What was Trimble running? How did the O and D look? Any score from the scrimmage? What about score from Atherton scrimmage?

From the info I have on Trimble Co. they are running the wing-t or a version of out of the shotgun formation. They were pretty successful against Knott.

Trimble's scrimmage against Knott County was a 33-0 win.

Not too shaby of a win. Is Trimble pretty good or Knott not good at all? Might be a close one!

Trimble has plenty of quality kids returning to this years team. Look for them to make noise this season.
