  1. :banana:He needs to hook that puppy up to some speakers and share the tunes.
  2. Me too. We put all this work into the decorations. Who was suppose to supply the music?
  3. Just got back, this party is not a lively as normal. Where is everyone?
  4. Off to grab a little Texas Roadhouse. Hopefully this party liven up before I get back.
  5. Anybody gonna help set the tables and chairs out and get the party favors ready? I logged on tonight just to come to this party.
  6. I joined a few months back and it is amazing the number of people on the site that you haven't heard from in years. Can't explain it but I am addicted to Farmville (and would welcome a few more neighbors...pm me if interested). I don't play too many others, maybe Farkle but only when I am sitting watching tv. I am pretty good at not allowing it to control my free time.
  7. I completely agree with this reply. I have watched the boys worked extremely hard to get where they are today. It is a much different team than in recent years and the hard work has paid off. Congrats Bulldogs and to the fans and alumni who have weathered the rain almost every game. See you next Friday!!
  8. We had a 10 week old beagle tied to our front porch a few months back. Didn't plan to keep him but couldn't find another home and would not take him to the shelter. We have been doing puppy training once a week and he is a very smart dog. We have had some of the barking issues but the training techniques are really working.
  9. Homecoming for the Bulldogs, we are hoping for another win.
  10. So far it is narrowed to Berea, Murray, Cumberland and adding to the list is Campbellsville She is trying to stay in Kentucky if possible. Thanks for all the suggestions and input.
  11. Let's hope the winning streak will continue and become 5-0.
  12. What didn't you like about it? PM me if you want, I can give you a little more history on why we are looking for a small school enviroment.
  13. She would prefer to steer clear of the "party" scene. She is not into that at all. She currently has a 3.85 GPA and is in the top 15% of her class taking all advance and college prep classes. She has a good resume of extra-curricular activities and community service which she hopes will also help her. There have been some great ideas that I will pass along to her to look at. THANKS!!!
  14. She was very dissapointed with her score, very unlike her. She got some high scores but did poorly in Math and average in Science. She has done alot more prep work, in all subjects but alot more with math. She is hoping to raise her score significantly.
  15. The price tag is going to be a factor. $39,000 is out of the range. She has great grades and a proven leader in her school. She currently has a 22 on her ACT and getting ready to take it again. Not enough, IMO, to get any type of academic scholarships (she is going to try though).
  16. Thanks so much for the added suggestions. I am compiling a list for her and will continue the search.
  17. That's not too bad of a drive. Looks like some campus visits will be in order soon. Thanks for the great suggestions so far!
  18. Where is that in relation to Northern KY?
  19. My son likes it, he transferred from EKU and has done extremely well. He will have a major in criminal justice with a minor in sociology. You are exactly right, she has to be happy with her choice. I want to make sure she does her research and is aware of all the options out there for her.
  20. Read this thread the other day and had to come back to it so I can get off of my last post, #666. :scared::scared::scared:
  21. She hasn't ruled NKU out, its just not on the top of her list. Maybe she doesn't realize that she can live on campus.
  22. We live in N. Ky and my son will be graduating from there at the end of this semester. She really wants to have the experience of going away to college.
  23. That is on her list to look at. Any good points on Morehead?
  24. I am on the hunt helping my daughter, she wants to go away to college but attend a college with a small campus. She initially looked at Berea and fell in love with what she researched about them. Unfortunetly, I don't think she will qualify under their financial need criteria. Any suggestions of some colleges that I can point her to? She wants to study something in the psychology field. Thanks for any help.
  25. My first trip was the day after Memorial Day and we were there for 8 days. That was the best time to go, the weather was tolerable and the crowds were not bad at all. We did attend during the gay week, but honestly, I did not find it offensive or out of line at all. I did hear about that Monorail. Very sad for the driver.
