I believe they did. You might dislike X because they win but Coach Glaser is all class. Central IMO is the best story in KY high school football in a long time.

I was talking to a head coach on friday at the finals and he belives that when they reclassify in 09 that you will be only allowed to play up if you want to play in 6A. Don't know how true that is but it would make some schools have some tough choices to make.

Still trying to figure out the illegal touching call... Thought they should have kicked it and then try to get a three and out and then only need a fieldgoal for the win.

With the schedule they have they might screw themselves out of a top 10 pick by winning the next four. As for CP he was trying to complete 15-20 yard passes that were sailing high. Big Ben and team tried the same thing in the first quarter and got nothing. THEY adjusted and started throwing 5-7 yard passes and were successful. CP had a bad game but where was the slant, hitch, something different then trying to go too far down field in that weather. Coaching is pathetic. 2nd half Bengals D forces 3 and out and turnover that results in field goal. For some reason they decide to pooch kick and Steelers get it on the forty. Kick it deep and try to pin them back. I was a Marvin fan but I beginning to wonder.......

I would have given him an A if they could have won a few more games this year. Loses at S.C., home to Miss St, and not beating Tennessee puts my grade at a C+. All three were very winable games and 2/3 should have been wins. Maybe I have high expectations.....

Great interview with Bankemper, pound for pound the best RB I have seen at HHS. I was just entering my teens at remember those 81-82 teams and have some great memories following those teams.

I look for Owensboro to hang tough at home, if you haven't been to OHS to watch a game you need to try and get there. GREAT location, setting, and atmosphere. With that said BG's offense scores enough to win. BG 21-7.

The usual cast on Offense. Conners and Hurtt had some big holes to run through, Draper caught a beautiful deep ball at the end of the half for a TD and the Defense swarmed all over the place. I've never seen a D have so many kids on the tackle. On one play I counted nine on the pile. Letcher moved the ball effectively through the air at times but couldn't run it at all.

Birds roll... Congrats to Letcher on a great season. Very impressed by the QB from Letcher. Didn't miss many recievers and was on his back on just about every pass.

Chris graduated with Brian Weinrich if memory serves me correct. Played LB and RB. Had a great run at Hancock County when Travis Atwell was QB and had success at Wagner and PRP. He would look good back in the Blue and White of Highlands.

I've been told she's wearing all those hats so the bow hunters in town don't mistake her for a deer in the future.

Just read in CJ sports that Iroquois is ranked third in the state preseason. Any details on who looked good for HHS? Any suprises?

I saw it, while HHS was coming on the field the entire Scott team was dancing on the H at midfield. I had to do a doubletake but they were doing it.

Watching Philly tonight they are in serious need of a WR. I say trade CJ for as many picks as you can and then who ever the Bengals are debating on whom to pick on draft day, pick the person they were going to pass over.

They just need to "work harder and play smarter." I'm just repeating what Marvin will be saying in his press conference tomorrow. This team is so frustrating. As much as I liked Marvin something has to change.

I don't think telling someone that it's hard to compete with HHS talent is making excuses. It's a fact. Year in and year out HHS will have more talent than Dixie and most other schools in the region. It starts with the FTJFL and goes from there. I do agree about Tom's behavior, it's funny to watch him look like he is complaining every play...

Thought Tony G. did a nice job filling in. First two series were TD's. I really liked the SHORT pass to the TE in the flat and let the big guy pick up some nice yards after the catch. I believe they ran that play for a TD late in the game.

Yea, I was in the endzone where he kicked it and it had PLENTY of room to spare. What a great weapon. Even against the strong wind he was putting the ball into the endzone. Any reason Clay didn't play early.

I think you are correct. I don't remeber seing him playing any defense in the first half or did I just miss him.
