Hilltopper 2005 - is the Custard kid going anywhere?

Christian Co. is the real deal. It will be a very good game with Beechwood. Christian Co. has some good pitching to go right along with the staff of Beechwood.

My questions are: Why do foul balls or home run balls have to be returned to the Harrison Co. dugout? Wouldn't either dugout be suffice? Couldn't Mac just as easily tossed them into the Beechwood dugout?

I think an overlooked stat is runs scored. What do you guys think?

Moore can come back tomorrow but you might see Curley instead. I guess it depends on how Chas bounces back.

I agree that you will not throw a fastball by them! Moore and Curley must use their off-speed pitches often to be successful against Harrison Co.

Last I heard it was 6-2 NCC in the bottom of the 6th with Ryle batting. Ryle had the bases loaded with one out. I'll give another post when I get an update.

Bourbon threw Evans, they still have Cook to throw at Brossart. Mutsch vs. Cook should be a good one.

Schneider looks like he has been their ace as of late. Bush was hit hard his last couple of outings. Scott just didn't want it as bad as Harrison Co.

Good question but...if he was voted at two positions by the coaches, how is he not the player of the year? If he can do it on the mound, in the outfield and at the plate, how is he not the best all-round player?

No school on Tuesday - Election Day. Rule states that you cannot play 4 consecutive days that school is in session.

They shouldn't get any respect until they do something in the post season. However, this topic is about rankings right now. You can't put Campbell in front of Scott just yet. It shows on the KHSAA website that Scott shut them out last Friday. We all know that rankings don't mean a thing in the post season.

1. Clark Co. - best hitting team in the tenth 2. Harrison Co. - they will be ready in late May 3. Scott - balanced throughout 4. Bourbon Co. - could flip flop with Scott at the #3 spot 5. Mason Co./Brossart - both have a stud to run out there that gives them the chance to win.

Looks like the Northern KY teams faired pretty well with Beechwood taking second and Scott taking third. Both of those teams beat Harrison Co. on the Hilltop which doesn't happen to often. I still think the Northern KY teams don't get the respect they deserve up there.
