  1. I've seen Campbell in camps and in AAU ball...and have been impressed with her skills, but it appears that she is only now reaching her potential. Congratulations to SH. I've always thought good post play could make the difference against LC.
  2. Another good matchup is... two of the most versatile players in the 16th Region.
  3. I've always thought this captured the effort required to rebound.
  4. Hopefully, we'll see this matchup in Morehead.
  5. This Walrus character is a sly one. I've had to become quite the sleuth.
  6. You've seen it before...hair out of place, smeared make-up, no lipstick, socks that don't match.. Just kidding. Among other things, I mean their lack of patience on the offensive end of the floor and the refusal by some to defend. I trust that it had much to do with Laura's absence and that others were feeling ill as well (one I know quite well). I don't agree with Uncle Jed's assessment that this team can still be great, but one can't forget the effort they put forth against LexCath. Let's hope this bunch can find the same motivation the rest of the way.
  7. Not a great deal to add, but... Queen: 10 rebs, 1 ast, 3 stls Faulkner: 1 reb, 4 asts, 3 stls Hammonds: 2 rebs, 1 stl Gambill: 1 reb, 1 stl Pope: 1 reb, Mays: 2 reb Friley: 3 rebs Dunden: 2 asts, 2 stls 19 TOs Team Rebs: 2 Little effort today and even less discipline.
  8. Congratulations to Jonathan and the rest of the team. I hope Evansville has their streaming video ready for next season!!:thumb:
  9. Thanks, LbbCoach. It is good to see how kids around the state are doing.

  11. Yeah, that's right...and then she and Cheese had a knock-down-drag-out. Now, give it a rest...go find a good infomercial.
  12. You could always hire the guy that taught her everything she knows. :D
  13. Will you be coaching your own one day, LRCW? Surely, you have thought about it? How long will you wait...grade school, middle school?
  14. I'm so glad; I thought I might have gone two far.
  15. We're talking a Psyche 101 obsession here. Where's that email address for Dr. Phil; I've got to get this Walrus some help.
  16. I would caution you to stop just short of the line you're about to cross, Walrus.
  17. How much of a factor was Russell's size advantage? Was Vanderhoof healthy? How about Raceland's perimeter shooters?
  18. Thanks, 6shot...and I agree. If Britt is allowed to play, it will be a good match-up. London is quick and makes the best use of head and ball fakes that I've seen...and is constantly trying to look off the defender...stuff you just don't see kids doing like they should. Defending her requires a disciplined commitment to denying her the ball...when you can...staying in front of her when she has the ball, and not leaving your feet. ...but what do you think, Walrus?
  19. They've played against one another and have been teammates as well...and maintain a good relationship (no petty jealousies like often exist elsewhere). Should they match-up, it would be fun to watch, but I suspect Britt Faulkner will guard London...if LCA is willing to make the trip. Emily London is a great kid and a gifted all around athlete...one of those you enjoy watching even if she is your opponent. She will be playing her college ball in the OVC at Samford (Alabama). Let me ask you...do you think Britt can handle London?
  20. Whoa there Scooter...you'll have some folks thinking I'm of the religious left and you couldn't insult me more. Let's see...how 'bout..."Roll me another one, just like the other one..." Be nice RHers...I'm just kidding. Just a "get along" song from the old days.
  21. There is shock and awe among the regulars in the P&R forum.
