Excluding pizza, what is your favorite kind of pasta dish?
Jim Schue replied to Randy Parker's topic in BGP Break Room
Fry up a 1lb package of Italian sausage links. Then light sautee of some fresh shrooms and red bell peppers and onions. Boil some rotini, and mix it all up with some good red sauce seasoned with garlic, basil and oregano, layer on the mozzarella and Romano, and bake. -

Very cool.

I think their nest is across from the Walnut Valley campground and they work wide area above and below the Markland Dam. They've been spotted in the trees by my folks' place before.

Will there be high school football this fall?
Jim Schue replied to Tkinslow's topic in KY Football (High School)
It could be done, but it would require extreme schedule limitations with certain sports (and meets) only done on certain days to allow athletes an opportunity to play more than one sport, and to keep from over-stressing the available official pool. Not sure how that would work for the softball coach who also heads up the boys' soccer program — a lot of coaches don different hats depending on the time of the year. -

I think there's something substantive to your theory. -
Adam Sandler vs. Will Ferrell

I've never cared for Sandler. Didn't much like his SNL characters, for the most part, with a few exceptions. Ferrell has always been much funnier to me. -
I think there are a couple of nesting pairs in Nelson Co. I've gone looking for them but never have found any luck trying to get photos.

Open Job: Nelson County

Actually, Bardstown gained enrollment from the split. If you look back, that's right around the time Bardstown got too big for All A Classic participation. They got a good enrollment bump from parents who didn't want their kids to get caught up in the split and be forced to go to TNHS. -

Documentaries on Kentucky high school basketball.

Seems like we need a rally for ESPN to re-air it or make it available for streaming. Run it on SEC Network. It was really good and I think I only ever saw it once. -

And I just got the email that Turfway will not run its final three days of the meet. -

May not be for long. Fairgrounds cut its meet short. Keeneland cancelled, so did NY and Maryland and it appears Chicago. I guess Turfway is done. Correction — they will close out Thursday-Saturday. -

Some undoubtedly will. I hope I'm not one of them (crossing fingers). I have taken on more news coverage and other duties during this time, while still trying to have some semblance of a sports page. -

There's a really good Oasis album I would recommend you all check out during this down time which actually also answers the OP question: "Definitely Maybe." -
Good luck with that one.

Pretty outstanding game. Score was tied at 59 apiece a little more than two minutes into the 4th off of J.J. Traynor's three. But the Tigers came up empty with no points for nearly 4 minutes and couldn't rally back after falling behind by 6. E'town hit 8-of-11 FTs over the final 4 minutes to hold off a late Bardstown charge.

Who will be the regional champions in 2020?
Jim Schue replied to Runcible Owl's topic in KY Girls Basketball (High School)
Really looking forward to Friday’s 5th Region semifinals, especially that E’town-Bardstown rematch. That should be a lot of fun.
