I've got one better for you!!!!!!!!!!! I was born in Williamson WV....grew up in and WENT TO SCHOOL IN P-BURG (i was recuited in kindergardin)!! And NOW I'm raising my kids and sending them to school in Belfry AND I LIVE HERE TOO ooo but I just remembered--they were born in Pikeville :sssh:

Yes its getting very old and what does it matter where your born?? Does everyone go to school where they were born?? I KNOW one of the kids your talking about played ball IN KY BEFORE high school gees Do these people out there realize how close Belfry and Williamson are?? How small this area is?? The way they act like Belfry recruits is almost funny LOL you could walk from one school to the other! Besides that I've watched most of these kids grow up in KY schools btw--by saying ive watched "most" of them, doesnt mean that the rest of them went to wv in grade school it just means that I didn't know them or my kids didnt know them

YES ME TOO!!! Looks like the same bunch of kids that we have watched grow up and play ball in grade school/feeder schools and move right on into their spots at BHS!! Course if you dont live here and know these people you wouldn't realize that these kids belong at Belfry now would you!! Sometimes post just dont even deserve a reply

Yes we helped make them look good lol. But I'm not getting carried away and I didn't make this post based on the scrimmage. I said "I hear JC will be...." and I wish them the best. As I do ALL the mountain teams when they are not playing against Belfry and I do think they are getting better every year :thumb:

I hear that JCHS will be unstopable this year :flame:

It is at home but I'm not sure what time.

I kept reading, ready to post, wondering if anyone would realize that this years QB started against Henry Clay, Ironton and Lawrence Co last year. He had the privlege of opening up CAM Stadium as the QB and reconized that as a privlege. And although he didn't continue to "start" when our senior was well enough to play, he did continue to play the position as back up and was also the "possible" starting QB for this year. He's not "the" returning starter but he's not new either. He's worked very very hard ALL summer with the coaches as well as on his own at hit camp and from what I hear he's done fantastic and should be more than ready. It might take time to settle in but he should be fine. For the record this has nothing to do with competeing QB Bowe who was injured. We need him as well. He's a great asset to the team so we all do hope he recovers fast!

:thumb: I agree!!! :ylsuper: Ryan and some more of the kids didn't participate because they are playing Belfry Baseball. There was an artical in the paper about it with Haywood saying that spring practice, with some of the starters gone, gives him time to work with some of the younger kids. Not taking away from anyone, some starters dont play baseball and they were there, but thats just how it works.:thumb:

I agree that the better team "that night" won. And Love my Belfry!!! Dont miss a game. But Belfry did not play ball like that every game last year. They did not play Belfry ball that night and there were a few other games that they could have done better. Wasn't taking away from Russell they were the better team that night and they had a great season! Just saying...we didnt play that bad every night either...sometimes I think its like this years basketball team, when their on their on, when their not....I dont know...Just not consistant

We shot too many threes. We did win, so this is Not an excuse!! And because this would effect all teams not just Belfry, but I've heard complaints (comments from numerous people) about the goals/rims...anyone know? I've heard thats why everyones having lower scoring games.
