  1. The go eight deep and have about 185 boys.
  2. Since you seem to actually know, when did he leave? I heard early? BTW--I never thought I'd see that much orange in Mason County?? It may not be "Big Blue" country anymore??
  3. WOW about sums it up--Impressive victory against a fine team. They'll be tough to handle!!
  4. Jealousy like this has to be tough to live with every day??
  5. WOW!!!!!!! Do you really need to condemn 20 some high schools and their fans because one old lady was obnoxious??
  6. Why leave out Clark & Scott, because apparenty all the better teams foul?? Maybe Mt. Olivet Deming should try it?? Oh that's right you did and it didn't work either!!
  7. I did hear the Bruce Pearl rumor several times??
  8. I think his hoop's knowledge is limited to Mt. Olivet Deming!!
  9. Are all your 148 posts this classy? Officials didn't beat Brossart today, but they didn't help either.
  10. Good point on Chamberland & crew!! I posted my above comments on the wrong thread!!
  11. That would have been nice today!!
  12. He's done nothing but annoint Mason since day one!! Just another Mason fan that speaks his real feelings??
  13. Sorry Panther, but 4 All-Region players and me don't get beat by 50 by anyone??
  14. Just a couple that come to mind that have had better seasons than most of the honorable mentions: Setty--Mason (How could you overlook him??) Kidney--Brossart (PG, great defender and solid scorer on one of the region's best teams) Niemeyer--Brossart (Solid defender, scorer, etc.--Huge All "A" tourney, all 37th district team) Mutsch--Brossart (injuries all that could have kept him off, but Quigley made it?) Smith--Scott (2nd leading scorer for one of the region's best, outside threat) Pawsat (sp?)--Mason (solid player on the region's top team) I'm sure there's more (definately on Clark), but all these deserve at least HM?? Clueless how they picked this team????
  15. Simon has the advantage on paper, but I've got a feeling Gallatin can keep this close and maybe pull one out of the hat late--Gallatin 66-64!!
  16. Give Mustang a call and he'll help you get set up. He worked with the CovCath guys to get them started, and has done some football as well!!
  17. But can you nominate an unlimited number of players, and if so, then this system is a joke?? It should be an honor to make this squad, not a "my coach wants to get me some recognition" award!! With a couple of exceptions, most of the HM's couldn't even start on the top teams, and several wouldn't even be in their rotations?? When the top three teams in the region are represented by a total of seven players and one of the worst teams has four, something is drastically wrong with the system. Further I can't believe that anyone nominated by their or another coach gets honorable mention, because that would mean players like Setty & many others received no mention from anyone?? I won't say that's impossible--But That's Impossible!!
  18. That sounds better than it looked at the game. Wish him a speedy recovery!!
  19. If this is true, then obviously some coaches take this seriously and others don't?? Are you trying to tell me NO ONE even nominated Trevor Setty, for example??
  20. Thanks for posting the entire List--First time I've seen this list, including the honorable mentions. Who votes on this, and are they required to pick at least one from each team? Some pretty good players omitted from at least being honorable mention?? Not knocking anyone but Clark & Brossart have only two players each on this entire list, and Mason has only three; while Augusta, for example has four???????????????
  21. Congrats to Clark on taking care of business and moving on to Saturday!! See you there.
  22. I was just about to make that point--Even closer from the northern parts of the county. Sounds like some parents need to take some time and organize a couple of middle school level teams, or just sign the kids up for a team? I know lots of folks who consistantly drive further for AAU, YBOA, etc. tourneys!!
  23. Rough play is indeed what gets players hurt, along with frustration when you are outmanned!! Cooper has a right to defend himself from all the guys constantly hanging on him and hitting him in the back all night--And if they are going to allow them to hang on him like that, then expect him to try a get them off?? I agree with homeless camel that they let the game get kind of out-of-hand, and then went overboard in the 3rd period, trying to get it back under control. Interesting after 32 games and countless discussions on Brossart's defense, you accuse them of dirty play?? I saw lots of dirty plays last night (off the ball elbows, shoves in the back of a player that's in the air and defenseless, undercuts. etc.) but few by the Mustangs?? All the Mustang coaches, players and fans feel sorry for Massey's injury (as evidenced by their post game actions), but to try and say a sprained/broken ankle that occured when several kids went up for a rebound was the result of a dirty or intentional play, is downright irresponsible!!
