  1. It was the game at Brebeuf Jesuit on Sat. Feb 18. Ballard won 84-64 KHSAA Scoreboard
  2. It's been my opinion for several years that officials in Jefferson County give well established coaches a very long leash, then when they leave the county they get T's because they don't get that latitude. Don't know if that's what happened here or not but it wouldn't surprise me.
  3. According to Jaaon Frakes on Twitter Ballard Coach Chris Renner was ejected in the first half of a game Saturday. That carries a suspension so he will miss at least the district tournament.
  4. What it sounds to me like is a team that was going to get beaten badly decided not to put their players through that. Wish some could apply that logic to football.
  5. Valley-Yes They also have a college size floor and are the permanent site of the 6th and 7th region tournaments for boys and girls and the boys LIT.
  6. He transferred away from Waggener to go to a prep school out of state. Got little playing time so he transfered back to Waggener. KHSAA ruled him ineligible.
  7. At Trinity a committee of seniors get to design the rings. The '16 ring is going to be sharp.
  8. Some of the things that I hear people say influence college coaches make me chuckle. If you're good enough to play in college the coaches will find you.
  9. Yes, he walked out of the gym and I assume to the concession stand and came back with a soda.
  10. Do you leave the bench and go buy a soft drink?
  11. AS I said in the update thread, I'm really impressed with the way Dujuan Wheat has them playing.
  12. Trinity survived. They play like this tonight they lose big. Congrats Valley, you played hard.
  13. Trinity's going to win this but they were out played. Valley is a team to be reckoned with.
  14. Valley is hanging with 6 players. Did I say I was impressed? Trinity could lose this thing.
  15. Valley continues to play hard. Couple of times it looked like Trinity might pull away but Valley answered.
  16. Valley doing an excellent job dictating pace.
  17. Just like last night. Trinity finally wakes up and starts playing and takes their first lead just before half.
  18. I'm extremely impressed with how Dujuan Wheat has Valley playing.
  19. One team came ready to play from the tip.
  20. You don't score many when you don't try to score. No points and 1 fouls was the entire line for the 3rd quarter.
  21. Most insane strategy I've ever seen. Down 9 Ballard stalls the entire 3rd quarter. I guess they were trying to get FC out of their zone. Renner actually went to the concession stand and got a drink while the stall was happening.
  22. 2:20 to go Ballard down 40-30.
  23. Ballard down 33-24 at half. Fern Creek falls back into a zone and Ballard basically stalls the entire 3rd quarter trying to get Fern Creek out of the zone. They don't come out. Ballard finally takes a 3 and misses at 10 seconds, FC deflects the rebound out of bounds. Ballard fouls FC on the inbounds play. No points and 1 foul in the 3rd. Maybe they're refreshed for the 4th? Ballard's head coach actually went to the concession stand and got a drink while this was happening.
