I still think he is probably the best player but yesterday wont look good in the voters eyes.

They lost twice to NCC. Lost by around 8 in the regular season scheduled game then in the district final.

He graduated in 01 I believe and he was the best player on that team so yeah thats probably who your thinking of.

Thats why Rico is far and away the best player on the team imo. While Im sure the loss was as tough on him as it was any other Holmes player he took it like a man and was very classy in defeat. Hard for anybody not to like that kid. Wish a couple of his teammates would have followed his lead.

Im a big Rico fan and he would have had my vote for Mr. Basketball but man Foster just worked him over yesterday. Couldnt believe it, Im guessing nobody has done that to him before. I really liked how he handled himself after the loss, he showed class and took it like a man unlike a few of his teammates.

Boys played amazing and just weren't going to be denied this week. Feels so awesome to see the cats take home the title. Party time!

Hopefully 3rd times a charm for the Cats and they finally get over the hump and beat the dawgs. If they can keep hitting big shots they have a chance. Ill probably make it to Rupp for at least one game no matter which team wins. Go Cats.

The cats played decent for the first 3 quarters but really kicked it in gear and dominated in the fourth. They got outrebounded pretty badly I thought. CCH really didnt have anyone that could check Foster and he came up big in the 4th. Sizemore had a nice game as well. McDaniel and Luther were solid as well. #25 for CCH was easily their player of the game.

How much time left?

Thinking about going to the Newport game tonight. Does anyone know how much ticket prices are?

Nice long bus ride for the Cats but looks like they played well. Looks like they play East Ridge today

Should be some fun games between them. They were both on the TMC staff in 05 and Im guessing they would have played each against each other in high school.

Not sure how many kids Newport will have coming from the firefighters or how good they are but they should have some solid players from the Jr high team. If anything they will have some beef thats for sure.

Yeah 36th is at Newport this year.

When watching the game I thought the two teams in bold looked very similar. Both are very tough half court teams and Desales just seemed to be on fire today from 3. I bet they shot over 50% from the field for the game. The only shots they missed seemed to be free throws.
