I'm just so happy for the Eviston family. Eddie showed these boys real leadership by coaching tonight. Contrary to belief the team was extra motivated, but they just did not play good football. 8 and a row over the Birds is all I need to see and hear.

I am all about a CCH/Cooper rematch in November, but the game in Ft. Thomas next week when the Colonels come to town seems to bring out a different Bluebird team.

Also, just to tack on to what I said, this is definitely not CCH's best class fully healthy. Next year will be different with James Brooks son and company.

Considering Eddie has done a pretty good job only playing 13-14 kids out of the 22 every year, yeah it is a big deal. They seem to do fine in Varsity.

Pitzer should have been our QB since he recovered from his injury. Eddie has a pretty good track record with 3 year QB's with Mayer and Jacob. The Colonels need this bye week to get healed up. The Sophomores are so good on this team.

I don't think CCH coaches really thought we had a shot at those guys talking to them.

I feel bad for these Frosh Colonels. They had some 3rd stringers playing tonight with all their injuries. They will be fine in the next few years.

Well said. These aren't the type of scores CCH is accustomed to in the last 6 years, but a win is a win.

First time looking at this since the loss. Huge props to Beechwood. I know it was their 1st win against us in 7 years, and and 1st at home in 13 years They earned it and were the better team not just on Friday, but most Friday's. My son said they simply outplayed us.

I caught most of the HHS/SK 2nd Quarter as I was there by default due to a volleyball game, and was in between games. I've never seen a High School team have their biggest player as their kicker, and their smallest kid on the team by a mile as their middle linebacker as HHS did. Apparently it works. It was 28-0 when I start watching with the Birds kicking off and SK was stopped at the one, and then subsequently turned it over on the next play for an easy score for the Birds. It is just Frosh ball and SK always claims they don't take it seriously, but they looked very disorganized.
