The Double Deuce Posted October 25, 2021 Author Posted October 25, 2021 Good luck to the 4 teams playing this evening out at Conner. Should be an exciting week in the 9th, and I'm sure Conner will be terrific hosts.
The Double Deuce Posted October 26, 2021 Author Posted October 26, 2021 Notre Dame defeated Dixie last night at Conner by the scores of 25-10, 25-16, and 25-13. Ryle defeated NewCath last night in 9th Region action similarly, by scores of 25-11, 25-14, and 25-11. Notre Dame and Ryle will square off on Wednesday night, the 27th, at 5:30 out at Conner. The Pandas and Raiders met once in the regular season, at Notre Dame, with Ryle winning 3-1 (25-21, 21-25, 25-23, and 25-19). It should be a great match on Wednesday night!! Tonight out at Conner there are two matches: Highlands vs Cooper at 5:30, followed by St. Henry vs Holy Cross at 7:30. Good luck to all 4 teams tonight, and congrats to Ryle & Notre Dame on advancing to the semi-finals.
bigblue96 Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 Anyone know if they clear the gym in between matches of the semis?
The Double Deuce Posted October 27, 2021 Author Posted October 27, 2021 Cooper defeated Highlands last night at Conner by the scores of 25-17, 25-14, and 25-17. St. Henry beat Holy Cross by scores of 25-17, 25-14, and 25-11. Cooper and St. Henry will play at 7:30 tonight out at Conner, following the Ryle vs. Notre Dame WAR at 5:30. Cooper and SHDHS did not play in the regular season, so this will be their first match this year. Good to all four of the 9th Region Semi-Finalists tonight, should be two great matches, and of course, an exciting 9th Region Championship game on Thursday at 6:00 PM out at Conner.
Bluesport Posted October 28, 2021 Posted October 28, 2021 They didn't clear the gym. St. Henry and NDA made short work of Cooper and Ryle. Finals tomorrow: NDA will try to avenge their loss in 4 sets to the CRU at The Playing For a Purpose game. Real shocker that these two teams are in the Finals considering it seems that way every year other than last year when they played in the 1st Rd. 1
