Hopkins County would be a scary team with either McKeel or Haskins as their head coach.

Hancock County has to travel to Murray. The margin of this one surprised me given Caldwell's ability to contain Trigg's offense in recent years. At least Tiger fans will get to enjoy some good barbeque before their first round playoff game.

Big win for the Colonels. Owensboro's lack of experience at quarterback and inability to throw down the field will hurt them in the playoffs. They have the tools everywhere else.

From the rumblings I have heard, Coach Wyatt may be better off sticking to track and field. This may be a one and done much like when Jay Buckley coached there.

So instead of meeting in the first round, Hopkinsville and Christian County would meet in the second round? Should be another classic.

I think Monroe winning at Green proved home field isn't as significant as one would think. Plus, neither team has a tradition of putting together a long playoff run, usually getting beat by a lesser team in the postseason. I'm looking forward to seeing either one of these teams play Fort Campbell, but honestly, I don't see either one winning at Danville first.

I knew Class 3-a was week after the top five schools but still never thought Henry County should have been ranked in the top ten because of their weak schedule.

I think the wishbone offense was a dreadful idea given their athletes. When they run the spread, the seemed to move the fooball more, especially more with King back in the lineup.

Hoptown's fan base is fickle. Even worse, there would have been fewer Christian County fans there if they were playing Highlands. They should just give the Stadium to Fort Campbell and Trigg County. They would come closer to filling it on game night.

I guess. Doesn't say much for the Purple defense to not be able to put away Franklin-Simpson though.
