Final

Calloway County trailed 21-7 at halftime, but rallied with the help of four second-half turnovers (three interceptions, one fumble) by Hopkins Central. Also, the Storm's quarterback went out with a sprained ankle early in the fourth quarter with the game tied, and he was a huge loss.

Calloway scored with less than a minute left to win the game.

Hop Central leads 21-7 at half and Lakers pitch 2nd half shutout. Garner 3Q 60 yard INT big momentum swing. Calloway scores with :50 left for the win. Willis 2 TDs rushing, Brockman 2 TDs passing (Garner and Dobbins). Two teams pretty evenly matched, but big win on the road for Lakers tonight to get the district's top seed in tiebreaker.

How does the rest of District 1 play out? I know MN is 4th.

Calloway County wins the district title, with Lone Oak second and Hopkins Central third in the tiebreaker.

Hopkins County would be a scary team with either McKeel or Haskins as their head coach.
