  1. Beat in every phase of the game. Hope we are embarrassed enough to come back and make amends. #s 5,8,9, and 22 were killers. Speed kills. I do have a question. Had to leave early in 3rd. Turned on radio and X had thrown up the white flag and put in sophomore QB,RB, etc. After the 3 and out, Male reinserted first team. What was up with that? Male Coach lost my respect on that.
  2. Max Preps' pre-season rankings had Manual and Sacred Heart ranked 13 and 15 nationally. In the Midwest they are ranked #1 and 2.
  3. I like Saint X here, but am concerned with Male passing game. Are starting DBs back?
  4. Great job Tigers. Thanks for the stats Tigerpride94. Do we know who had the Ints?
  5. I left at halftime X dominating both sides of the line of scrimmage. T lines completely outplayed.
  6. I respect HC for at least stepping up to play X. The other Lexington schools avoid X and T, instead of playing them and stepping up their game. I guess the Ws are too important, even if against mismatched schools. Tigers however in a running clock.
  7. BTW, SHA won the Freshman and JV divisions, defeating I think Manual in each. Looks like a budding rivalry growing.
  8. It was a great tournament. My Granddaughters play for SHA-one on varsity, and one on JV. Like many out there, I didn't know much about the sport since I had sons, but it is exciting, especially as you get to the JV and varsity levels. Many girls from the Louisville area are able to secure scholarships from many excellent colleges, including Wake Forest, North Carolina, Syracuse, Indiana, Cal-Davis, Miami of Ohio, Louisville, Bellarmine etc.
  9. Is Mike Pfeiffer's son playing Freshman or JV ball?
  10. On another thread, someone mentioned a transfer to X from South Oldham? Is this correct? Is he eligible?
  11. The Guru has just added Girl's Field Hockey as a sport on BGP. This is a very popular sport in the Louisville area, and, I believe in the Cincinnati area. For those who might be interested in the game, Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville is holding the 47th Annual Apple Tournament this week and weekend at the school. All levels have divisions (Frosh, JV, Varsity), and both private and publics are playing.
  12. I appreciate everyone's thoughts on the game, however, I think this one belongs to the Tigers. DeSales' win last year was well earned and deserved. Was a good win for the program, but I think they caught X off guard on a night which was historic for DeSales because of the new stadium. DeSales has built a great program, but sometimes paybacks are hell. The Tigers have a year under Coach Wallace and I believe everyone is on board.
  13. They have had freshmen teams with over 100 trying out.
  14. As an aside, I heard this morning there are about 80 freshmen out, some with good size. Trinity has about 45. Don't know anything about quality of teams.
  15. Thanks for the explanation. Makes some sense. I do note that the HC game is at LexCath. I remember my sons played there several years backin some sort of Invitational thing.
  16. Glad to see Henry Clay. Want to play the Lexington schools who seem to avoid us.
