Tigers go on road and take care of business. Defense played great and did not give up a point. Henry Clay scored off pick 6.

I watched most of the first half, those two 6A teams exist in different universes.

You’re welcome!

HC playing a challenging schedule early this year. Still have Pulaski County, Douglass, and Central Hardin before district play. Hopefully it will pay off down the stretch with Scott County no longer in their district.

Henry Clay has a few good looking players, but they were no match for St. X. St. X was very basic on offense because they could, but executed well all night. Big challenge next week when Male comes calling.

Logan Davis had 128 yards and 3 tds in basically one half of work. Defense held Henry Clay to 60 yards and had 4 interceptions.

St.X stats:

Passing

Doug Bodhaine 9/14, 184yds, 2 tds, 0 Int.

Bennett Boehnlein 3/6, 36 yds, 1 td, 0 int.

Jack Sivori 0/1, 0 yds, 0 td, 1 int.

Rushing

Logan Davis 17 carries, 128 yds, 3 tds.

Justin Walsh 10, 37 yds, 1 td.

Austin Uhrhan 1, 4yds, 0 tds.

Receiving

Mehki Smith 5 receptions, 69yds, 0 tds.

Grant Goodman 2, 24 yds, 1 td.

Justin Walsh 1, 80yds, 1 td.

Luke Spears 1, 17 yds, 1 td.

Tackles

Kenneth Shaffner 5 tkls.

Hale Bohler 5 tkls.

Zane Peckenpaugh 5 tkls.

The St. X vs Trinity game is shaping up as an all timer type battle. Coach Wallace is getting St. X in position to take the mantle Trinity has held for the last (how many?) years.

Great job Tigers. Thanks for the stats Tigerpride94. Do we know who had the Ints?

St.X last championship was 2009. Male has had resurgence also last 4 years by winning 2.
