Top Dogs and Under Dogs This season in the 9th
So..HC has a hope of getting in if they are the same side of the district bracket of Ludlow. Is that what you're saying?

Top Dogs and Under Dogs This season in the 9th
What a joke. Since seeding started I believe it has been Holmes and CovCath very year except 1. 2 at the most. The region is either Holmes or Covcath. Most llikely Holmes.

Projected Lineups For 9th and 10th
Gettin to the region is a given because of the "less than stellar district ' they play in. Throw them in the 35th and the and making it to the region would be a successful year.

Cantrell's Rating The State 9-18-06
Hc played Ncc once this season and Hc won. Thats what matters. Not what if's. These ratings are a joke.

Weight limits at each class
If you are asking about minimum then they can only move up 1 wt. class. examples. 119 wt class prior to Jan 15 would be 103.1 to 119. A wresltier weighing 103.1 would qualify for 112 lb. weight class and be able to move up one class to 119. After Jan 15 the 119 wt class is 105.1 to 121.

Region 8
This could be Region 8's year. Thay have always been very competitive, but always seemed to be edged out by either region 6 or 7. This year however we may be crowning a new top region. Lets see what the state tourney brings us. :walk:

Good place for KY results?
Why not e-mail Tim Ruschell and Rusty Parks directly? You can find thier e-mail address at KHSAA.org look under school members directory. They will be listed next to thier team with e-mail address.

Peace is probably the best at this point, even if Howard is there.

Perry Central needs matches
You can find many of the coaches e-mails on the KHSAA website. Use the Directory of KHSAA member schools. This will list the coaches name and his e-mail. You can look for tournaments on the Kentuck coaches assosiation web site. KHSAA.org kentuckywrestling.org I hope this helps out, and we need many more like yourself to save wrestling programs in the state.

Good place for KY results?
Kentucky Coaches Association has some results at times. Kentuckywrestling.org Other than that KY does not have an official site that all the coaches send thier results to. Even here many coaches do not send in thier results. Why is this? Wrestling just isn't as popular in the bluegrass as it is in Ohio. I would guess that 50% of the schools that have wrestling do not fill an entire team, and have almost no JV team. I would also bet that less than 40% of all the schools in Ky have wrestling.

NKAC " 05 "
Newspaper had Golsby placing 1st I think Thuenerman wrestled 3 matches at 145 and 4 matches at140 and was unable to place at either weight. (you had to wrestle 5 matches at a weight class to place) Newport had their first conference champ Boxx at Hwt

Enquirer's Nky Preview.
Raiders area's team to beat Here is the link. I have spotted 7 mistakes in the article. 1. Under Ryle. Said "145-pound champion Rob Aylor" 2. Under Simon Kenton "Austin Cooper (142)" 3. Under Simon Kenton "Dusty Brown (119)" 4. Under Conner "Seniors.....Dale Stone" 5. Under Conner "Junior Stanley Stone" 6. Under Holmes "Senior John Golsby" 7. Picture caption "Rob Aylor a state champion at 145 pounds last season"

Enquirer's Nky Preview.
nope this would be Matt Mulcahey. I'm not sure if he has any wrestling knowledge. :irked:

Enquirer's Nky Preview.
I'm not sure how much stock you want to put in this review. I noticed at least 3 mistakes in the article. This may have been the worst article on NKy wrestling I have read. Even the picture of Rob Aylor is incorrect. It states he was the 145 lb state champion. :irked: :madman:

Returning state placer info.
Anyone have any info on any of the returning state placers? Wt. classes, have they wrestled anyone yet? ect. ect.

Is the quality of NKY wrestling falling or . . .
I'm not sure how you can think they are down. They have wrestlers who will be considered the top 2 in their wt. class and probable state champs. Daniel Thuenerman (Scott), Rob Aylor (Ryle), Brian Wilson (Campbell Co.), and Austin Cooper (Simon Kenton). The irony is that the last three could be in the same wt. class this year. Could be one heck of a wt. class. Does anyone know if these three are going to split up this year? I can't see them all wrestling 145 this year and I'm not sure any of them could make 140 this year.

Wrestling practice?
What happens if Sheldon makes it to the regional finals or more? Do they postpone the wrestling season? I'm sure there are a few that do not play football. I would think this would set them back since everyone esle has already started practice..

Best Small School
The arguement with Banks can go both ways. Banks is able to defeat some very tough wrestlers, but sometimes he takes a lose to a wrestler that maybe he shouldn't lose to. Last year was a great example. He lost to Mines and then defeates Smith for 3rd. Two year ago he did a similar thing. He defeated Bankemper, then lost to Weston and Sanders. (Bankemper defeated both of these easily) Of cource this is just in the state tourney. But this is where it counts. :ylsuper:
