I dont know if I would say Rock is a great team but a very good one. They are a very good team because of a great Coaching. They have a very nice back in Miller and a big strong line for him to run behind. They play hard with a lot of heart and never quit. The Rock program is solid.

Rebelk could have been worse, how would you feel if they had been leading 50 or 60 to 0 and they had kicked a onside kick to score again, as Boyle has been known to do. What goes around comes around.

I have heard several kids that played for Lincoln Co in the past will not play this year. Could be wrong, you can hear a lot of stuff in the off season.

Good win for LC, great way to start district play. Back up QB Edwards did a good job tonight. Passing game suffered some but overall a good effort for a Soph. QB getting his first varsity start.

Are you implying that LC would cheat? LC had several 9th graders come out after school started. Were not eligible to dress for Death Valley Bowl, so they were not in the program.

Just for information. Two different kids,two different injuries. Miller had a dislocated elbow against Garrard, ended his season. Calhoun had a minor injury at Madison Central late in the season.

To my knowledge LC will put the same team on the field this Friday night that played against Rock.

Understand the mix up, the point is the same.

Braxton Miller recieved the injury last year, still one half of that backfield.

All football teams have injuries, I know LC had one starter out, and had several 10 graders on both the O and D lines. Ben Harris a Soph. made the two QB sacks at the end of the game to seal the win for LC. Last year in the game at Rock LC had a total of 11 Soph. on one side of the ball or the other. I dont recall anyone at LC crying how young we were. The way I see it Mr. Network, after a few winning seasons, people forget how to lose graciously. Best of luck rest of the season for both teams.

I did see the face guarding by RC in the 4th, the reciever was Reed not Young, the other two I dont know, I thought over all a pretty well called game. Great effort by both teams.

I guess it all depends on what you want to call "several years". LC 11 grade class beat Boyle badly three time their 8th grade year. They also had three wins against Danville.

How in the world could it be possible for you to know that? Best of luck to Rock in the rest of the season, I hope you do win the 3A title.

Great High School football game. LCs D stepped up at the end of the game with a couple of big plays, getting to Rock in the backfield on back to back plays. Rock turn the ball over on downs, LC takes a knee three time to run the clock out.

I dont care to start a fuss about something that happen three years ago but it did happen. The kid was a Soph. and I can suppy his name, but I will not do it as he was only doing what he was told. 8th grade team always played first, but 7th and 8th grade game start times were switched to allow Rock High school team to finished pratice. I would not bet the farm that LC will have that many turnovers next week. LCs Jr. class is motivated by a little stunt Rock pull on them at Rock when they were in the Middle school. Going to be a great game. LC 21 Rock 13.

You Mercer fans are getting a little ahead of yourselves. Are you saying that the rest of the district need not play? I am sure Mercer is a talented team but lets not give the whole future of a complete district to them because they have won two games.
