Congrats to St. X Tigers!

Very good. I was getting a bit nervous when I tried to look up a score around 6:30 and didn't see any. I will have to admit, based off what I've read this baseball season I'm a bit surprised to see the Rocks here, but that's what makes baseball exciting. I think the Tigers will be a bit too much for the Rocks and X advances to Lexington with a 4-1 win! Go Tigers!!

There is no bad blood between BG and T. BG played X in '05 and '06 in the Rafferty's Bowl, then a 4 game series with T followed. BG decided to mix it up with X for a game series. Nothing more, they were just trying to diversify their schedule a little bit. Series between and X and BG ends this year, so maybe the Purples and Rocks could get their series going again.

I would imagine he will be the anchor for the defensive unit this year.

I thought I remembered them being in the lower classes in FL. Should be a great opportunity for both teams.

THS, any preseason scouting report on Cocoa? I know they were pretty good two years ago.

I think this Purples team will suffer a couple losses this year. With players like Fant, Hayes, Tisdale, Pillow, to go along with much of their defense; it will be very tough for them to be the team they have been the last three seasons. But it's still BG, they're going to be good and the expectation will be to win every game all the way until December. Have they wraped up Spring Practice yet?

St. X Tigers prediction: Ballard - W Bryan Station - W @ Bowling Green - W (Everything being equal, I would feel confident that X wins this year as opposed to the last three meetings.) Fairdale - W Moeller - L Central - W Trinity - L (Pains me to put this, but until they prove they can beat them it has to a loss when predicting.) Male - L Manual - W @ Cincy X - W As of May 7th.... 7-3.

I believe this is the Male class that has been consistently beating both T and X on the JV and Frosh level. I think for this group it will be mental more than anything. Last year they beat both X and T in the regular season and playoffs, but feel short in the state semi-finals. If the team learned how to handle success over both X and T based off of last year then I think they have a great chance at playing in December.

The first round games are comical. In order for the playoffs to be better the state needs to reduce classes. 6 is too many for KY.

I played with Joe at X and he is a great person for the strength and conditioning position. I am a bit shocked of how little it appears Coach Wolford is responsible for...I'm sure he is doing more than what I am perceiving. Looking forward to the start of a new football season! Is it August yet?!?!

Jalen was a great player and looked like he was becoming a better QB as the year progressed. While he was solid dual threat quarterback is passing skills were not exaclty great...which if you're going to play in an "Air Raid" offense you kind of need to be able to throw the football accurately.

If it's not posted anywhere then I would bet he is a preferred walk-on.

They're going to be good. How good we don't know, but there is not parity in 6A. I believe last year was the first time since '96 that X, T, or Male did not win the big classification.

He is an assistant so he can tell those parents to talk to head coach. :lol2:

Is there a "scouting report" on him yet?

I BG has a DL that will be a solid player, believe his last name is Scott, but who are some other players that will be filling in key positions?
