Being able to run the ball and stop the run are the two most important things in football; don't try to convince me other wise. In X's run first offense....they should start using swing and bubble passes. I know they run them a few times but as a running team a bubble pass is nothing more than a sweep and goes into their passing stats. A win, win for everyone!!! A perfect player to throw a bubble to...#16. X doesn't have to open up anything....throw the ball 15-20 times to keep the D off balance and then the running lanes become that much bigger. BG will be ready for just about anything X does and BG's offense will be confident they can run the ball based off last years game. Should be a great game!

Last year I remember hearing that BG's offense did a great job of running the ball and keeping the ball away from St. X's offense. From what I have been hearing this year's St. X team looks like a "normal" St. X team, with big offensive and defensive lines. Bowling Green's defense always keeps them in a game, but unlike last year I don't think the Purples will be able to sustain drives. BG has some young weapons on offense but I think St. X will be able to keep them in check with their size and speed on defense. If St. X can get Walker going on offense then they will be fine, if the BG defense can stop/slow him down I think it will be toss up game. I think the size and depth takes over for St. X and they survive their trip to Bowling Green. St. X - 23 BG - 14

Another question, did Brandon Moore play? Didn't read anything about him.

I would imagine that "The Decision" won't be made until around mid January. Right around "indoor" time. I live in FL and I've heard of some alum down here that have their eyes on that X position. So I think it may be an unintential national search.

Second year in a row this has happened to Ballard.

I was only able to get updates last night via twitter, but I noticed the box and saw that DF racked up a bunch of yards. Going a long with the defense theme, were a lot of those yards gained late in the game or did DF do a good job of moving the ball consistently all game? It should be a very good next between the Tigers and Purples...I'm sure BG will be rockin'.
