I'm not sure if they will be at the game, but @LouisvilleCatholicSports does a good job of covering games on Twitter. Last year these were both tight games with the teams splitting the games. I think it will be another close game....but I'll go with Central because of the court advantage. Will Charles Walker play for X tonight?

Maybe the football gods didn't like the tip of the hat by Coach Glaser after the '09 state game, but I have a feeling the football gods are going to shift their attention to the school on Shelbyville Rd. to make sure they're minding their Ps and Qs.

I was getting updates from my bother and reading articles this morning the game reminded me of the state championship game my jr. year ('03). From just reading, it sounds like the injury to Walker was a bit more tough for the Tigers to overcome than the Quick injury for the rocks. With also missing Austin Davis that put a lot of the offense on X's qb....which I would be willing to bet is why they became so predictable in the second half. I know as fans we, both X and T fans, would love to blow out the either, but these games are so much more memorable when they're close and competitive. Good luck to the X seniors in life, you have a great foundation set don't be afraid to build on it. In the words of Tony Dungy, "be uncommon". I also want to thank Coach Glaser for all that he has done, not just for me but for the entire X community. X's d-line has to play one heck of a game tonight. If they can find a way to get constent pressure on Wrigth they gave themselves a heck of chance to hold down trinity's offense long enough for X's offense to control the clock and hopefully score some TDs! X can't settle for field goals, those won't be enough to beat trinity. Go X!

So, in 24 hrs. we'll be starting the 3rd quarter of play or at least towards the end of halftime! Looking forward to the updates of this game!!

I don't know much about the situation but for a WR it would be hard to turn down Oregon...just from a football persepective.

The Tigers have to get TDs when the t offense turns the ball over. Make them pay for those mistakes.

What is weather forecast for Friday? For me it has never been Quick that has worried me, I will be very happy if Friday is Dawkins last game as a high school player.

Yeah, their screen game is tough to defend. The X defense has to be able to trust their reads and not try to make the hit/play. If it was me calling defense on the very first defensive play for the Tigers I would come with a corner blitz with a man free coverage. X can't let Quick and company intimidate them this game. Get up in them and disrupt their timing/route. Mix up the coverage from man free, 20 coverage, cover 2, and cover 3. Talking all this stuff is firing me up!!! Is it Friday yet?!?!

X on defense has to find a way to mix up their coverages and blitzes. Just like everyone talkes about X being predictable on offense they can be just as predictable on defense too. They need to find a way to get presure on Wright and not let him have all day to find an open reciever. What drives me crazy with defenses in general is the play of secondaries. X CAN NOT let anyone behind them or it will be 6. Mix up the coverages and find a way to keep t offense on their toes. Easier said than done, but a team that has consistently slowed down t offense are the Xavierans from Cincinnati....wouldn't hurt to check out that film. :thumb:

Warren Central has shocked BG before, back in '09 and '10, but those weren't playoff games. I don't think Warren Central will be able to hang with Purples...they're on a differnt level. Kind of like T and X in Louisville.

Don't worry... the feeling is mutual about your school, which I try to avoid saying at all possible, and your big cheese! For how good the school on Shelbyville Rd has been over the last few years, their fans seem to be quite sensitive.

I hope he is given the opportunity to get to 3 passing TDs. He and the staff can't be shy about taking their shots.
