Delegation. I'm sure Coach Wolford was a bit overwhelmed when he first started a year ago. It makes sense to allow a person who has been at the school for about 20 years to help with some of the background stuff that comes with being a HC.

Glad Coach Walsh will still be on staff. I believe Coach Walsh started his coaching career at X as an OL coach. Congrats to Coach Bruner on the opportunity!!

I'm sure this has been discussed, but does X feel any pressure in regards to T "strength" of schedule for the future? Or do the "higher ups" in the X program feel just fine with the way their schedule is/has been constructed? From a philosophy standpoint...

BG's contract with X ends after this year, maybe they could give the Purples a call. If in state teams don't want to play them, then good for heading out and finding other competition.

The QB Harper looks good. Reminds me a bit of Petrino...he will be a sophomore so he has room to grow and mature. His brother looks more impressive...granted it's an 8th grade film.

I don't know much about Cocoa this coming year, but having coached in KY and now coaching FL, the speed will be much different than playing Midwest power teams. T may likely have the advantage on the line, but the skill guys is where the real challenge will be.

I just don't understand it. I have no problem with Sherman being excited and proud of his play, but the way he acted after the play and during the interview is beyond unprofessional. He gets paid millions of dollars to make that play, act like you have done it before. Celebrate with your teammates because he did not make that play all himself. There were 10 other guys on the defensive side playing just as hard and doing their job.

Is this actually go to happen or is it something we're going to talk about until August?

I believe T did it 2 years ago, but not sure who the other team is.

The 3 is a great equalizer, but when it's not falling a game can get away from a team.

It would be very hard to see him on the sideline for Manual.

Not shocked if Coach Walsh is not the DC next year; will be shocked if Coach Bruner replaces him for the reason stated by Xavier above. I would say based on the schedule this team will be 6-4. While BG is always good, there will be a bit of a drop off in talent in '14 and I think X will be able to snap the 3 game losing streak to Purples. I'm excited to see Houk at QB, also believe Chase Rowan will be really good this year at RB. Not sure what they have on defense, but they have to upgrade their speed, too slow at just about every position. I believe Houk is the only QB to beat a T team in the last 4 years.

I would say it would be a wider search. But I have a feeling it would be someone with some type of connection and who has coaching experience.

Good win for the Tigers. It sounds like X had some key baskets late in the game by some of their role players. Shaw has proven he his the teams go to guy, but it sounds like they don't have a consistent number 2.

Interesting movement. I was a senior in '04 when Coach Bruner first started at X and I have always thought highly of him. I would have thought Coach Wolford would try to get away from some of the "Glaser" guys if he were to make changes on the defensive side.

The blame can be shared throughout the program for the 2013 season. From administration all the way to the lowest man on staff. Coach Wolford has to find "his" guys and if that means replacing guys on the defensive side of the ball then he has to make that decision. It will be hard to disagree with a change if one is made.

I believe Chuck Smith's son is on staff there. That would be first guess as the replacement. I would imagine there will be some quality assistants from the area who will throw their name into the running.

I believe 2 of the last 3 regular season games have been very entertaining. While X has one blemish on their record I do not believe they have played the quality of opponents that T has. But when these two schools meet, the record can be tossed out the window. Shaw for X will have to make key plays to keep the Tigers with in striking distance; if not the Tigers will have a difficult night. I believe the Tigers will hang around with the Rocks and will find a way to make key plays down the stretch... X 52 T 49. Side note... I loved when they played the games at Knight Hall!!!

It would be tough to go straight to being a HC of a Division 1 school from high school. But I'll play along, Beatty and Wallace are two names that jump out at me. It's all about the right fit, Kevin Wright had his struggles when he was the OC at WKU for a year but has been a very good high school HC. The situation is key.

Well based off this game, their holiday tournament, and the Cincy X game they appear to be a tough minded group. They can overcome some adversity. Cov Cath beat them pretty good, but from the outside X appears to have a "never say die" attitude. But you probably know better than me.
