I'm leaning toward the Wimp Sanderson look that someone kindly suggested. You will see me all over the 16th this year as well as several games in Nashville.

Thank you Mr. Nets. This was my only point and it may be moot because Coach Parsley may not have applied. If a board policy to that effect was in place it is easily changed to accommodate the need. For instance, the change to allow a principal to coach. I was on a local school board for five years and Russell can and will hire whomever they choose, based solely on the person they want to hire.

Coach Parsley IS an employee of the school system and IS eligible. But, I have no idea if he applied. He has been a sub @ Russell for the last two years taking my place as the paid varsity Ast. Coach.

Coach Parsley played at David Lipscomb College and played on the NAIA National Championship team.:thumb: However, I don't even know if he actually applied for the position at Russell. I have removed myself from the loop. As far as your backhanded slap at Coach Dodd, when you said you hoped the person who hired him and Coach Stamper wasn't making this decision. Janis Joplin said it best, "You don't know what you got, til it's gone".

Anna Chaffin was the previous girl's coach and Daryll Adkins was Merle's Ast Coach. If Anna has applied, she is a great person and I am sure she would be highly considered due to the excellent job she did before.

So, your point is that Ms. Hughes has blown 15 games while Cassity and Parsley remain undefeated? She is certainly a high caliber applicant!

However, that ONE person that makes the decision is occasionally ordered or prodded into handing down a decision that they don't agree with.:sssh: "A" person and his minions can influence the final decision by that ONE person in some rare cases.:devil:

Coach Parsley is a Minister at the Church of God in Ironton. He has been the head boy's JV coach for the last five years and varsity ast for 6 years. He has two daughters on the team and if he is interested in the job, he is the best applicant. He has done an outstanding job with the boy's JV team.:thumb:

And with a few tweaks in their game, all four will be very good 16th region players this year. If Baker is developed, he could be a top ten player this year. Greenup Co is a top five team starting the season and should win 15-18 games this year. Elliott East Fairview Bath Greenup
